Hubby and I will be celebrating our belated 14th anniversary @ Disney! Our anniversary is in May but we would like to celebrate belated couple months later since that is the time we are visiting Disney. Can you like have Champagne, strawberries and like a little wedding cake and something special for our children? Where do you order, etc? Anyone with any experience to pass along, I would appreciate it-THANKS!

Our Disney trip is a belated anniversary gift. We had to pick a couple months later than May as kids are still in school in May and hubby's vacation time couldn't happen in May.

bumpity bump bump bump (it said my message was too short, so I added to it... :rotfl: )

i am wondering the same. We will be celebrating our 15 yr anniversary and have the kids with us. We checked into the vow renewal and it is a fortune!!! So we are just doing our usual Disney trip and trying to make it special. The kids would love some sort of celebration.   :worship:

For our anniversary at WDW we had Cristal Champagne, Chocolate cigars, tuxedo strawberries and a huge beautiful arrangement of flowers in our room. I also had a cake made for our dinner at Citricos.

I arranged this thru the GF IPO, they took care of everything, well except paying for it :rotfl2: .

There are lots of little things you can do :) BW Bakery and the GF Bakery make the cakes you can order......I am sure you can have champagne and strawberries delivered to your room and depending on where you are staying, enjoy them on the balcony. Maybe plan a nice dinner and have the special cake at the restaurant....be creative and have fun :)

I have set up quite a few speical occassions recently for clients at the Coral Reef restaurant in Epcot. They are great! They will print up special menus for the occassion, you can order a cake if you would like and the best part....they will have a diver in the tank swim by with a banner saying whatever you like! The only cost is the cake if you would like one....something like $12.50 for a 6 inch and $24 for an 8 inch! The food is really great there and if you are on the dining plan it is now only a 1 table service location..used to be a "signature". You do have to call the Coral Reef directly to set up the special arrangements.

Happy Anniversary!

Kim

Antkim: that sounds like a great way to celebrate. Thie kids would love it. They still do not know we are going back. We usually go every 2-3 years, but I figure a 15 yr anniversary is special! I found out my 12 y/o DD is trying to plan an anniversary party for us, but she told my mother she only has $25. She is so cute.

Your daughter is very sweet! Tell her she can buy the cake at Coral Reef! :teeth:

I think I'll have my mom "suggest" this to her and let tjhem plan it, that way she'll feel like she threw us a party!
