What can you expect - from a "season-less" visit?

Hi All,

I'm just curious to understand what you can expect from a "season-less" visit to DLRP?.

My previous visits have all been during the "Christmas Season" - and hence I've been spolt with seasonal decorations and 3 evening parades (Christmas, Fantillison and Enchanted Fairytale).

Now, I looking to visit for a couple days in the week leading to the Easter weekend - with there not looking like DLRP is doing "Easter" this year, I'm just wondering what I can expect?.

I'm guessing it would be (hard to imagine) a decoration-less Main Street (obviously - I mean it's not like they keep the Xmas decorations up all year! - this is Disney's look on the world - not Slade's) - and a late afternoon / early evening parade?.

Is that about right?...just feels sooooo empty having done Christmas.

Thanks

I wonder why they are not theming for Easter next year - the decorations and theming looked great this year.

Iain we have been in Summer which is not part of a theme. I have to say while for us Christmas time is the best it is also very nice to see the part "stripped" so that all the details are visible.
It is a different but never the less enjoyable experience.

The other difference will be it is somewhat warmer. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I know what you mean Iain, Christmas is my favourite season too, but it's still soooooo great going when there is no "season" on. Okay there's no Fantillusion and not so much to do as there is at Christmas, but there wll be at least one show on (when we went in April last year there was a Peter Pan show and Tarzan) as well as probably The Wonderful World of Disney Parade (or maybe the Princess Parade - haven't got brochure to hand, sorry!) Rides that are shut in the winter months will be open (e.g. Le Pays des Contes de Fees), plus rather than Christmas music as you enter the park, you'll hear traditional Main Street music (I love the Christmas music but there's nothing like the typical Main Street music!) and the weather will be a lot nicer!

Ditto what everyone else has said. We go every year either towards end of May or early June. I have to say parks are nearly empty and weather is perfect!!!! It is really pleasant to go this time of year!!
