Hi! My husband and I will be bringing our 5 year old son for his first visit to see Mickey the first week of June for 3 very short days :(

I'm bringing our own stroller and am wondering what drinks/snacks we are allowed to bring in if any. Can we bring in bottles of water or will I need our own water bottles. What about snacks for my son?

Other than the camera, sunscreen and maps of the parks what else do you suggest I bring in?

Yes, you can bring water bottles (no glass bottles) and snacks for your son. Your bags will be checked, but they are looking for things like weapons.

Other than what you mentioned, I would bring some antibacterial gel and wipes. And maps of the parks will be provided - and make sure that you pick up a "times guide" in addition to the map which tells you when shows, parades, hours, etc. are.

Check here for dates to visit...

Have a great trip!

I always bring bottles of water in with us, along with rice crispy squares and fruit snacks for my son. It never fails when we are standing in line for an attraction that he is suddenly starving so a little snack gives him some energy and keeps him happy. You can bring bottles of water into the shows but you are not allowed to drink from them inside. You can drink while in line though.

You might want to check the weather forecast and if there is rain in the forecast, make sure you bring a rain poncho - you can buy them at Disney but it is a lot cheaper to bring from home. Also, don't forget sunglasses and a hat for your son.pirate:

Have a wonderful 3 days in Disney!

I always froze Capri Sun juice packs & waters for our soft cooler (by the time your ready to drink them they will be thawed). In there I throw cheese sticks, Gogurt, fruit snacks & PB&J sandwiches. Granola bars, Pop Tarts, pretzels, sunflower seeds/nuts, Rice Crispy Treats & any other cereal bar also travel well. We also brought our own spray bottles to fill with water for when it's hot. The kids loved having their own bottle with their name on it (sharpie) and you can just refill in the park, I picked ours up at Target for like 99 cents...sure beats what they charge in the park for them. ENJOY!

Handi-wipes are A MUST.

Have a great trip! (and don't be sad...3 days in WDW is much better than NO DAYS in WDW).
