We are from canada and have always worn canada shirts to dine at lc so we can take a picture of our family but now with it beeing a signature at dinner am I right in thinking this would not be appropriate? we will be int he parks all day but I can have the boys wear dress shorts and shirt and same for me if that is what is now appropriate....please no better than thy additudes i just want to know what people wear now that it has switched not a debate over what should be worn...thanks in advance.

We ate at LC in April wearing jeans, t-shirts and sneakers. We hurried over from MK to make the ADR on time so were a bit sweaty as well.... :) Hubs' t-shirt had a collar, but only by accident. I was wearing a plain Mickey T.

Here's a link to the dress code for signature restaurants. LC isn't on this list, but it may need updating.

http://www.wdwinfo.com/tips_for_touring/dress-code.htm#Restaurant

~For the Signature Dining Restaurants, a "Business Casual" dress code is in effect:

Men - Dress pants, jeans or dress shorts and a T-shirt or long sleeve shirt with collar is required. (Jackets optional.)

Women - Jeans, skirts or dress shorts and blouse, sweater or dress is required.

NOT PERMITTED: Tank tops, swim suits or swim cover ups, hats for gentlemen, cut offs or clothing with rips/tears are not allowed. T-shirts with offensive language/graphics will also not be permitted.

The Signature Restaurants are:

Artist Point, Bistro de Paris, California Grill, Citrico's, Citrico's Chef's Domaine, Flying Fish, Fulton's Crab House, Il Mulino, Jiko's, Narcoossee's, Portobello Yacht Club, Shula's, Todd English's bluezoo, Wolfgang Puck Dining Room and Yachtsmen Steakhouse. ~

We have ADR's for Bistro d2 Paris in 2 weeks and will wear jeans since we will be in the parks all day. I'll try and wear a fancy Mickey T. :goodvibes

Wear whatever you have, it won't matter.

Shorts (except cutoffs), tee shirts and sneakers are acceptable attire, according to Disney, at ALL signature restaurants, not just the ones inside theme parks.

You'll note the list posted above does NOT include Hollywood Brown Derby and CRT. Those are the only WDW signature restaurants besides Le Cellier that are located inside theme parks (other than Bistro de Paris, which is on the list).

ok thanks...that is what I thought beeing in the parks and all but I didn't want to be out of place in nice shorts and a dressier shirt...walk in and everyone is wearing a die and cocktail dress ;)
