I'm bringing my 'broken in' sneakers to WDW, and they need a cleaning. They are white leather sneakers and I hate to put them in the washer. Does anyone know the best way to clean them?:wave2:

You could try a Mr Clean eraser. I often clean them with 409 and then the Mr clean and they come out great.

I recently had one of my cats decide she liked my sneakers for urinating better than the litter box. They are New Balance and leather.

I just tossed them in the washing machine with the water set for warm wash and cold rinse. When they were done I just let them dry for a couple of days. They are now very clean and no longer have the odor.

I just used my regular wash setting and a scoop of detergent.

When I worked in the ER I used to regularly wash my white Reeboks.

I'd toss them in the dryer occasionally to with towels -they make quite a racket! but that was only when I didn't time things right!

I second this! DS has white Nubucks for band and hubby happened upon this last year when he was in a pinch to clean DS's shoes! It works great and we've used it ever since!!!

Thank you for all these ideas. I just hate to wear grubby white sneakers, and there's no way I'll wear new ones @ WDW with all that walking! They've got to be well broken in and comfy! :thumbsup2

I use something called Sneaker cleaner, I got it at a shoe store. I've also washed them in the machine, much easier.

If there are just a few spots that need touching up, I just use a toothbrush and some detergent.
