We are heading to Disney again on January 3 till the 14. Will all sings of the holidays be gone? Will I be able to find Christmas stuff on sale somewhere? What kinds of clothes will be out?
What temperatures and weather should I expect? So many questions!

Christmas decorations...hmm, some may still be up - I've read that holiday decorations are around until the 12th or so...but not all of it...

Off-site sales - yep!! Onsite...not so much
Clothing is available for the "tourist" crowd, ie, you'll see CM's in parkas and gloves, selling t-shirts and swimsuits. On really "chilly days (read mid 60's;) ) they'll have lots of sweatshirts and hoodies available.

Weather can be iffy...some days may not get much above 60...others may climb into the 90's...we brought 1 pair of jeans and a light jacket, and bought sweatshirts there. Because the humidity is practically non-existent, there really aren't afternoon thundershowers...if it's rainy, it'll be rainy and overcast much of the day.

The pools are all heated to 80*, and the spas are over 100*

I can't believe that we're just going to miss each other!!:(

:sunny:

The crowds should be great. Most of the Christmas decorations will be up when you arrive, but down by the time you leave. If you are especially looking forward to seeing a particular place decorated for the holidays (e.g. Wilderness Lodge, Grand Floridian) I'd head there very early in your vacation.

The weather is VERY variable. Last year we wore shorts and T-shirts a lot earlier in our trip, but the year before was much colder. Our January strategy is to wear the T-shirt + sweatshirt + polar fleece + windbreaker/rainjacket combo on the coldest days, and to remove layers as needed. (And yes, we have needed all of those layers PLUS light fleece blankets for the kids in order to watch Illuminations). On that trip we had to scrape frost off the car windows with serviettes - turns out Florida rental cars don't come with a snow scraper! The cold weather has never stopped us from having a great trip, though.

Hope you have fun!
