...Besides make tacos and spaghetti? I need some recipes bad! They had ground beef on sale at the grocery store and I bought a ton! Thanks!

burgers - just cook and put on a bun

I make sloppy joes. Its really easy too! That's our quick night meal.

Just brown your hamberger until its crumbles. Add ketchup to the right consistency. Add a little, little bit of mustard and it's done! Serve on hamberger buns with shredded cheese.

Enjoy,
Deb

Easy Beef Pot Pie
Prep: 15 min.
Bake: 18 min.

Ingredients
1/2 of a 15-ounce package (1 crust) folded refrigerated unbaked piecrust
1-1/2 pound lean ground beef
2 cups refrigerated diced potatoes with onions or frozen loose-pack diced hash brown potatoes with onions and peppers
2 cups loose-pack frozen mixed vegetables
1 15-ounce can Italian-style or regular tomato sauce
1 14-1/2-ounce can Italian-style stewed tomatoes, undrained
2 teaspoons sesame seed
Directions
1. Let piecrust stand at room temperature while preparing ground beef mixture.
2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef until brown. Drain well. Stir in potatoes, mixed vegetables, tomato sauce, and stewed tomatoes. Bring to boiling, then remove from heat. Meanwhile, unfold piecrust; cut into eight wedges.
3. Spoon ground beef mixture into a 3-quart rectangular baking dish, spreading evenly. Place half of the pastry wedges along one long side of the dish, with points toward center, overlapping wedges slightly at the base. Repeat with the remaining pastry wedges on opposite side. Sprinkle with sesame seed.
4. Bake in a 400 degree F oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.

You could also make chili, meatballs, lasagna, sloppy joes, and ground beef pizzas.

I am making soup today.
Brown the beef in a large pot...1 pound
add
3 cups water
bag of frozen veg
chopped onion, carrots and celery, pepper too if you want
4 bouillon cubes
1 pound can of chopped tomatoes
simmer 8-10 hours...a crock pot is great for this
1 hour before serving add roux (melt butter in a pan, add flour, stir)

serve with crackers, crusty bread or corn bread

You could make chili, meatloaf, hamburger pie, stuffed peppers.

When I buy a lot at once I make patties, seal them in plastic wrap, and freeze them in freezer bags. Then when I want to make tacos, spaghetti, chili, or whatever, the meat is easy to thaw.

I make poor man's stroganoff

hamburger
2 cans Cambells Cream of Mushroom soup
salt, pepper

brown hamburger, add in soup and spices. Let simmer for 20 min and serve over cooked egg noodles

a staple in our house is our version of burritos..........

Brown some hamburger (well duh... lol). When it is completely done, add in some enchilada sauce and cook for about another 1-2 minutes.
The trick is cooking the tortillas. If you have a gas stove you are all set. Lightly toast the tortillas (of course I am referring to flour tortillas) on each side directly on the flame. If you have an electric stove you can cook them on a frying pan.
Spoon in some meat and top with whatever you like. We just add cheese and sometimes DW will also add sour cream, but whatever you like to add is fair game.
Fritos and onion dip make a great side for this meal.

quick & easy - fry some up with onion and green pepper and mix with macaroni, add plenty of seasoned pepper, some salt & whatever other seasoning that suits ya

two years ago .....the butcher made a HUGE mistake and made our moose into 300 plus lbs of burger and a few steaks........so hamburg was a common usage.........I have learned that burger is good for anything...
meatloaf....
porcupine meatballs....(my favorite)
meatball subs.
american chop suey
shepards pie...
taco pie
I found a site that had 400 or so recipes ......I will try to find it for you

Shephard's Pie is great comfort food.

Ground hamburger browned I season it well with salt, pepper and worsterschire sauce. Some people add gravy. Then you layer that at the bottom of a baking dish and then I layer a mixture of frozen corn and peas over that and you top with mashed potatoes. On top of that I put a lot of sharp cheddar cheese. Place in a 350 degree oven for about thirty minutes till warmed and cheese melts and browns a little.

Happy eating.

Hamburger Stir Fry

Brown your hamburger, then throw in some stir fry veggies and a package of Ramen Noodles, (spice package and all) with a little water. Add other seasoning to your taste.

Very quick and very easy.

I also do a variation on the stoganoff by pouring the concoction over toasted english muffins instead of noodles.
