ok i was wondering can disney, or does disney do anything for guests with terminal disorders, or illnesses? to help make the trip more magical. On the upcoming October trip we are planning, part of our celebrating is the fact that thanks to an enzyme replacement weekly treatment, I've managed to live a decade past what i was expected to live, I'm 23 next month. (i have hunter syndrome, MPS2, Mucopolysaccharidosis
truly disney is so special to me already but we were wondering if disney might do any little extra stuff to sort of highlight the trip? we know make a wish has lots of connections, and they do so much good with the children they bring to disney, i know i was one when before i got part of a clinical trial to test the enzyme replacement therapy before it got approved.
Im not wanting anything like that or to take away from the kids, just something to help celebrate living life and overcoming so many obstacles despite everything playing against me growing up. would calling and letting the resort know what we are celebrating be an ok idea, and asking if something small might be able to happen?
I'm asking on here for opinions on if i should or not. i don't see the harm in asking but i know a lot of people get upset when sick people try to get a little more attention
