What CAN a CM do?

Yesterday I called to set up a little mini trip on Memorial Day weekend and got the nicest CM on the phone. Really, this guy was GREAT. We wanted to stay at the Contemporary because this is probably our last trip for at least a year.

So I check about the cost and it's rack rate, of course. I asked to see if he could check and see what the AP rates were for the same time last year and he did. Great! Much more reasonable!

Well, the computers were slow as molasses so we chit chatted here and there and I got into all the medical stuff I'd gone through in the past year and a half and how much my Disney trips had helped me and my family, etc., etc. Just conversation back and forth.

So we booked the room so we'd have it in hopes of changing to the AP rates asap. He just went on adn on about how I was an inspiration to him and that he was writing down to do whatever he could to get us a great room, upgrades, etc. He was just so nice.

I didn't mention any of this to DH (except that I had a nice CM)...but I was just wondering, can a CRO CM actually do anything in that regard??? Not expecting it, but it'd be great if he could!
 
Just out of curiosity, did you get his name? I had a great CRO CM when I booked my trip too. I had to call a few times and I actually got the same guy 2 of those times. He noticed in the computer that he had talked to me before and said that it is extremely rare that he speaks to the same guest more than once.
 
Yes, his name was Holden. I always note the Cm's name when I call. I'd like to get this guy some praise to his superiors.

He can makes notes in the note section of the reservation that is sent to the resort. I hope all goes well for you and you get the vacation of your dreams! :grouphug:
 
CRO can also send this on to Guest Service who has much more lee-way in what they can do for guests.
