Yeah, I have never seen a actual VMK army fight, just seeing ppl say that they are in a army. I see it as a club, but i don't have ppl who im close to in the army risking their lives. I would dispise it to if i was in your shoes.

I would have to choose free out of all the 1s listed. I can't vote army, because when I was younger, I remember going out and playing soldier out and around in the yard, neighborhood, etc. Yes, these are different times than back then with the war in Iraq going on, however, I WAS there (in Iraq/Kuwait) after Sept. 11 and it still doesn't bother me when people want to play army.

So yes I have been in the shoes of someone who has been in "harms" way, but I don't mind seeing other people pretend to be in the army or a soldier.

I only know of "bay be" and "taken". I thought that whole "pet" craze died out months ago and I had no idea they did "army". People are still into "free"? lol...

Well pets are essentially players pretending to be certain animals, and zoos are rooms with lots of ''animals'' caged with furniture I would imagine; I wouldn't know because I never checked out any of those rooms. Anyways, that's the basic scheme of it. It doesn't bother me alot because I mostly just ignore the rooms, but when I see the ''pets'' I get kind of annoyed, they just look and sound really silly to me.

As long as the people doing baby or pets or taken stays out of my guest rooms or those of my friends I could care less- I can ignore with the best of them- but I have been known to boot for it in my own room

I would guess that the thing that bugs me the most is the begging for free stuff - it is really annoying to me- I also hate to see the free stuff rooms at 3 mickey ears because I think of little kids frantically waiting in line hoping for something and getting upset...

I also can't stand those random trade requests that offer you nothing- I have been known to trade things "cheap" and will usually accept buyables for things even if retired/rare- but don't offer me a skeleton at the helm and try to tell me it is rare... of course now I can shut off trade requests if I want to but if I don't want to trade I know I can click no or ignore just as easily-

If it doesn't bother you, that's okay, its only how you feel . I did say that to some people it could be offending, and that it doesn't bother me the most, because I know its mostly little boys playing soldiers.

Heck, my little brother has over 200 of those little green plastic soldiers, I may get mad at him when I end up stepping on them by accident, but other than that I have never complained about it. It's just a game to him for now, as long as he doesn't grow up believing war is a game I don't mind him playing soldiers.

The whole ''Tron'' army argument with him, I did because him using an actual character instead of soldiers set me off. His character is like a little virtual person who has stuff and VMK friends, and that's why it made me mad.

I don't mind your opinion at all, its welcome AlienNation. If it doesn't bother you that's fine, but others might feel a different way. Glad to hear your opinion, Nation

I've had a vmk account ever since june. it has been 6 months and for the first time a guy asked me to "be his girl." i said no of course i told him i don't do taken. it was quite ironic, because i was JUST about to post here saying that i was glad no one has ever asked me "to be their girl." and now sadly that is no longer true. i don't understand why almost everyone in the game says "i need a boy" or "i need a girl" or "taken by the most awesome guy (or girl)." how would you know? you don't know them in person! "taken" just absolutely burns my biscuits.

Taken is just so stinkin' annoying! I have learned something. I must play too much or something, because I was in a trade room. A guest comes up to me at the point where he's staring at my eyes. I walked away and said "get away from me", and a split second later he asks me if I'm taken! Come on people, you seriously need to get a life! (like vmk )

But seriously, the begging is really getting to me. I try to be really patient with trading to non DIS members, and I try to remember that they're very often kids on the other end, but sometimes trading is like pulling teeth!

I get a curt "show me ur rare", or "I poor, give me free." Or people ask for something nice, and offer a bunch of junk. I'm almost to the point where I might stick to DIS board trades only. Yikes.

And most people, are just asking to be taken, so they can say they are taken and pretend they are in love. If you ask me its just sick.

Now for the Bay Be thing.
Ok first of all, its just wrong, unless that is your actual parents that is just wrong. You have parents or guardians in real life, what do you need a fake one, that whom you could be older than, in a virtual world?? Lots of the time they will go crying to their "mummy" or "duh duh ", claiming someone was being cruel, when in fact they just did not want to trade. One persons signature, on vmk, said they were just a " Bay Be" not even bron yet! Come on that is just downright disturbing. I am quite a bit dissapointed in vmk for allowing these things.

I'm sorry but when it comes to this stuff, i just want to slap VMK. They are teaching young children to talk to strangers. Not to mention making them grow up much quicker than they should be.I know its the parents responsibility to moniter these things, but some have to work constantly just to feed their family. VMK needs to get it through their thick skulls that this is not right.
So vmk want to give me something for Christmas and My Birthday tomorrow? Take away the Bay Be and taken.

Well pink, maybe a bit harsh towards the staff of VMK, but I have to admit that what you said is brutally honest. I think VMK does need to have stricter rules about bay be and taken.

Some people will say: ''give the staff a break, they work hard and do their best'' and I can't argue with that, I'm sure that that's true. But I think that sometimes they work too hard on the things that aren't as important. I don't think bay be and taken are being taken seriosuly enough, how can VMK Staff say that it's okay?

In my opinion, the Staff work so hard trying to keep us entertained and satisfied with new items and events, that they often lose sight of what is really important. We don't need this kind of garbage in VMK, ''boys meet girls'' rooms are just a waste of virtual furniture, and its such a waste of time to deal with bay be's asking you to be their ''rich mummy''.

If you want to keep us happy, how about doing something about taken and bay be? Pink is right, it is very wrong and we don't want it. How about banning these silly players instead of people who use scripting tools to get codes, etc? They make some items so difficult to get that you can't blame them. In my opinion, deal with what is most important first and foremost.

The smoke alarm is going off.. my brocolli is burnt and my biscuts steamed.. Hey kids dinners ready!

I hate being asked for free. I spend my time, earning my credits, to buy items for me, so that I can give them away to you? someone I don't even know?.. silly me I forgot how that was supposed to work.

Oh yeah the newest free scam.. Merry christmas and they enter a shirt for 25 credits.. I ussually feel bad and offer them something better. After the forth time in two days I have had enough. Now I just pick people at random to give an item to when I feel like it.
