What brand of food processor do you have?

I would like to get a food processor, but I want one that will cut potatoes into french fries, preferably crinkle cut - do they make such a thing?

Right now all we own is a generic version of the Magic Bullet.

I have a Cuisinart and love it. I am not sure if they make one for crinkle cut fries, but they do make tons of different attachments for it. It is very easy to clean because the parts are dishwasher safe. It wasn't cheap, but well worth the cost.

I am not sure of a home use food processor for home use that creates crinkle cut fries, but the Kitchen-Aid food processor sells an additional attachment that makes french fries.

Having never owned a food processor before, I have no idea what size I need. On Amazon they have a Kitchen Aid food processor with a 9 cup capacity and it comes with a 4 cup mini processor. They also have 11 cup ones, 12 cup ones....I'm confused?

If you are going to go with a KA I would go with min 9 cup since the number of attachments for anything smaller are quite limited. I would stay away from the stand alone mini processors unless you are a very infrequent cooker that lives alone. 12 cups are for pretty intense home cooks, so 9 cups is a good standard size.

I have the big with mini and I love it. I use the mine many times. The mini only has a blade, no other attachments.

I also have the 11 cup cuisinart. They too sell a attachment to cut fries. Love mine just used it last night to whip up an awesome avocado sandwich spread. YUM!

I too have a Cuisinart and love it. I actually bought it on Craigs list for like $40. Originally $350.
