Getting ready to cruise in a few weeks :cheer2: and want to download some books on my Kindle before we leave. Any suggestions on good reads?

Get the Sookie Stackhouse series (True Blood) and the Girl with the Dragon Tatoo trilogy if you haven't read those.

I've got a few JD Robb books on mine and will be downloading the newest paperback before i leave in almost 2 weeks. A bunch of free stuff is on there too. I think I'm only downloading 1 new book before i go.

Not available on kindle (yet) but it will be worth lugging on board!

Quantum Theory of Near-Field Electrodynamics by Ole Keller

Another vote for the Dragon Tattoo trilogy....The Other Boleyn Girl....Sarah's Key.

How long is the cruise? Those should keep you occupied!:goodvibes

im an easy reader so I love the shop alcoholic books and something borrowed books true blood.

I will be bringing my collection of Playboys, since I only read the articles.:thumbsup2

The Kingdom Keepers series is my favorite, and it's also about Disney :)

I'm bringing South Riding (missed the PBS movie) and and a murder mystery to keep me distracted on the flights to and from Florida. Our last trip to WDW I read the House at Riverton by Kate Morton. Loved it!

I'm currently obsessed with the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon...#4 is coming on my cruise with me.

I highly recommend The Help. Great book - great movie.

For a quick chic flick read, something by Sophie Kinsella. For a more serious read, The Help. Fabulous book!

Loved The Other Boleyn Girl! Sarah's Key was great but a little heavy. The Help is fantastic. The Kommandant's Girl by Pam Jenoff was a recent read I couldn't put down. I like James Patterson for fast good reads. I also love all of Elin Hilderbrands books, all based on Nantucket. Good beach reading.

Oh ... like mine are intresting...

" The Muhammad Ali Parkinson's Center 100 questions and Answers"

and " Theory and Practice of Therapeutic Massage"

A real nail bitters! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Annie:faint:

I would for sure recommend the Twilight series,The Hunger Game trilogy, and the InkHeart trilogy Some of my favorite series.... :thumbsup2

That was my plan for our next vaca...but I couldn't wait and read it already!! Hope you enjoy.....ahhhh Jamie....

Lee Child's newest Jack Reacher book, "The Affair" will be released Sept. 27, and F. Paul Wilson releases the last Repairman Jack book on October 11.

My bible comes with me on every trip. Then I have a Nook that has the latest I am reading. I usually love Christian books, both fiction and non fiction. My favorites are historical fiction. My favorite author is Bodie Thoene.

I'm currently doing Made to Crave bible study by Lysa Terkeurst. So that is on my Nook, along with her videos for each chapter.

They are perfect for that early morning on the balcony with a cup of coffee. What better way to snuggle up and do bible study then on the first of God's earthly creations, the ocean. No distractions, just God's expansive being and the sunrise.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions!

I had already purchased The Hunger Games and some magazines, but now I just added Sarah's Key and the first J.D. Roth novel, Naked in Death.

Only 1 week to go!
