yes I do read :lmao:

Nelson DeMille - Cathedral great book could be a good movie

I don't know about "Great" movies but I would still like to see Tom Clancy's "Executive Order" and "Rainbow Six" made into movies--but only if Alex Baldwin plays Jack Ryan.

Any of the Anne Perry Inspector Pitt or Inspector Monk books. "The Cater Street Hangman" was a TV movie (and it was wonderfully done!) but period novels are very expensive to film, so I'm not holding my breath for any more.

Queen Colleen

Where the River Ends by Charles Martin.

Catcher in the Rye. As much as I would love it I would probably hate it more but still...

I like Alec Baldwin, but Harrison Ford will always be Jack Ryan to me.

'The Expected One' by Kathleen McGowan plus the two additional books ('Book of Love' and 'Poet Prince') in the series (I think it is called The Rose Line Series). Great books, very 'Davinci Code'-ish, but different.

I would also like 'Widow of the South' by Robert Hicks and a movie on the Last Empress of China (there were several books on her, I would like to see any one of them as a movie).

'The Shack' by William P. Young, 'Have a Little Faith' by Mitch Albom and a Sweet Potato Queen movie would all be nice to see too. :)

(although of course if they make them, doubtful any would be as good as the books) ;)

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, by Robert M. Pirsig. It's been years since I've read this book, but I enjoyed it. I think it has the potential to be a great movie.

The Given Day by Dennis Lehane, and I agree the Sweet Potato Queens would be good too!

I'd love to see Anthem by Ayn rand made into a movie.

From my point of view, almost any book by Piers Anthony would make a great science fiction or fantasy movie - "Chthon", "Sos the Rope" and others.

All My Patients are under the Bed by Dr. Louis J. Camuti with Marilyn & Haskel Frankel
I haven't read it for years but remember thinking it would make a great movie.

The Oracle Glass by Judith Merkle Riley
A historical mystery with dark undertones, I re-read it every so often. It has a LOT of good parts for women, of all sizes, shapes and ages... There's just something about the story and the historical details and the characters and....

agnes!

The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks. It is different than some of his other books as there is a lot of suspense involved and a good mystery.

Diana Gabledon's Outlander series would make good movies as well.
