What book are you currently reading?

I finished Bread Givers a few days ago.
I wasn't very impressed by it.

Now I am reading Dying For Chocolate by Diane Mott Davidson. I love all of her books and they are quick easy read before i dive into harder books.

I just finished Wolves of the Calla: Dark Tower V

Awesome book; awesome series.

I just finished Skipping Christmas and To Kill a Mockingbird. TKAM is maybe one of the best books that I have ever read.

Up next for me is Tuesdays with Morrie and Five People You Meet in Heaven -- both by Mitch Albom. I am not a big MA fan, but have heard good things about both of these.

Have you read Sick Puppy....because isn't that a BLACK LAB in your siggy? A black lab is a major charactor in the book!

I am reading the second book in the new Key series with Nora Roberts. I go back and forth between heady books and thoughtless books. I haven't found a heady book that I could get into in a while, have too much else going on in my head I guess!!!

I got a book full of Mr. Rogers quotes from my parents for Christmas, so that's what I'm reading right now. Soon I'll be reading a book about the Yankees, written by Yankees fans.

I'm reading "Confessions of a Medical Examiner" by Dr. Michael Baden and "Second Chances", a book about adopted stray dogs. Both are great reading.

I'm just done with the second "Key" book in Nora Robert's trilogy. I love her stuff !!

This is my first post, so I'll begin by saying hi to everyone on the board. My mom, metallicat, posts here occassionally so I thought I would register. (Hi mom!)

I'm currently reading The Hobbit. It's a great book, but I'm anxious to move on to LOTR.

lol Duncan is a shaved cocker spaniel. He does look a little lab-like.

I don't think I've read Sick Puppy. I know I've read some of his others. It's been awhile. I'll put him back on my library list.

Another Florida writer I love is Randy Wayne White. He writes mysteries with "Doc" Ford, based in Sanibel, but Doc travels, too.

I just finished Key of Valor, the last book in the light series by Nora Roberts. I just bought it today too. I loved these books and the last was a great ending to the trilogy. Now I need to find something else to read. Maybe I'll reread a Harry Potter book.

I just finished re-reading Timeline by Michael Crichton this afternoon - loved that book. It is probably my favorite ever. I don't know what will be next - I'm all caught up on Janet Evanovich, and also have read all the Diane Mott Davidson and Virginia Rich books I had too... I better go to the library!
