What bag do you use in the park?

I like the Spice Ogio bag (actually own two because I liked my first so much and am afraid they will discontinue). Here is a link to one http://www.motoworldracing.com/O'gio-Spice-Backpack.html

I like it because it's not the full size of a backpack, but still has cushioned arms (unlike many "small backpacks" who just have the tiny straps that dig into my arms by EOD). It can hold 3 regular bottles of water (just to give you an idea of how big it can be), but I usually just put our planner clipboard and other day stuff in there (camera, sunscreen, etc). BUT it is nice that it can be so big because it can hold almost all our "regular" souveniers - t-shirts, baseball hats, pins, etc. Everything but my scrapbooking stuff which we buy @ EOD anyway.

We wear shorts with cargo pockets. We carry our credit cards, FP, hotel keys, tickets, and a bit of cash in document pouches around our necks. The pockets on the shorts are big enough for a water bottle, a small bottle of sunscreen, and a small camera.

tried it out @ WDW, & luv the bagallini so much it's now my everyday "casual" purse:banana:

i have no issue with the metal part:confused3 ; however, i do wear it slung low on hip/back - almost fully extended.

even with tank top no irritation on shoulder or neck

the storage compartments are well-thought and it is so lightweight:thumbsup2

nice bonus, it's not too "girly"; even DH & DS will sling it over their shoulders when i want a break.

i have a messanger bag from disney.com 10dollers pirates one me and fionce

i probably picked up the same one last year (black w/red POC pic?)

i used it as a flight bag (stuffed the bagallini inside to pull out for the parks)

Well, after reading this thread I decided I HAD to go shopping for a bag for our trip. I wanted something small, fanny pack size. I will be packing a wallet, cell phone, small digital camera, chap stick, aspirin, & eye drops. I bought an Xhilaration Cross-Body Bag for $9.99 from Target. It was with the purses.

It is going to work perfect. The strap adjusts and it crosses the body. It will be easy to reach into when it is time to pay for something and easy to close up when you have your hands full of food. (I am clumsy so I need all the help I can get).

My husband also bought a bag to carry the video camera and his stuff in. He bought an Embark Travel Sling. He found it in the luggage dept. It has a padded strap and fits everything perfectly. He's even excited about his "man bag" as he called it. It was only $14.99 also at Target.

Thanks for the great topic.

I use my Jansport Backpack. I have found my backpack to be a little more comfortable than anything else. I used a messenger bag for a couple of years and I just did not find it to feel right.

I am with you on that one!
I have a 6 year old , 4 year old and a baby and the backpack is the way to go!

I bought a Baggalini and have used it once at DL and twice at LegoLand...and it doesn't work for me. I am 5"8" and a bit chubby and could NEVER adjust it that it wasn't uncomfortable in the long hall. No matter how I slung it, it made my shoulder ache. And I don't have a shoulder problem and I swim MILES every week, so have strength.

I toy with getting rid of it, but hear how everyone loves them, so think, hmmm maybe I should give it another try.

What worked for me is a small/mini backback (about 9x12") that has padded straps and two bottle holders and a baggalini small wallet bag. I took off the strap for the parks and threw it in my backpack with digital camera/snacks/sundries and for dinner or non-park outings, put the strap back on and used only it. My digital camera just fits!!

Oh, and the metal buckle on the messenger bag was a complete non-issue for me. Never noticed it...the bag just dragged weird on my shoulder.

So, not all things work for all people!!!:)
