Before the True Colors preshow for Honey I Shrunk the Audience, there was a preshow that started with a little boy getting his picture taken. He wasn't very happy about it. The show went through all the stages of life from learning to walk to going to school, dating and graduation to getting married and finally full circle to a child getting his picture taken. It has some incredible pictures and a wonderful song that I have been unable to trace. I miss that preshow.
Polynesian Luau (so much better than "spirit of aloha")
Alien Encounter
Bands playing at resorts every weekend (happened a couple fo summers in a row but then just stopped. Caribbean beach had an awesome band that would play outside by the bar till 1am)
Tapastry of nations was the best parade at Disney (except for Spectro). I also miss Horizons and Mr. Toad. I hope they never get rid of Carousel of Progress. I'd really miss that one!
I loved both the Hunchback show and the Spirit of Pocahontas (am I the only one who remembers this show???)
edit: also miss the Aladdin parade cant tell you how many times I saw that, with the Prince Ali song getting stuck in my head again and again and again
I DID NOT KNOW THAT TARZAN ROCKS WAS GONE I liked that one. Is A Small World back up and running or is that gone too?
I miss that Lion King show in MK but I do love what is there now .
I'm gonna have to go with Horizons. None of my absolute faves has ever been dumped but I did like this ride. I particularly liked the whiff of oranges in the desert farm scene.
Another vote for the Hunchback show. I practically blow a gasket every time I think about them closing it. (Saw the young man who played Quasi at the pre-show for American Adventure a couple of years ago.)
Also miss the TV show thing. Remember, it was audience participation and they had shows like Cheers, a little kid playing one of the Cartrights from Bonanza... That was a LOT of fun. They put new stuff in that theater every few years (I remember a very stupid Doug Show), but it's never as good.

PlainJane, my nephew did the Bonanza thing, too, during his "I've got to be at the front of the line, and a participant in every show where they ask for participants stage." My brother was a newscaster one year, and my other brother and sister-in-law did some other show.
- The daytime MK parade BEFORE the current Share A Dream Come True (can't remember the name, someone help me out) - We saw it 3 times during our first visit & 'It's Time To Remember The Magic' will always be Disney to me... The big snowglobes just don't do it for me.
