Hi all,

My Dbf and I will be heading to Disney in December. I am 22 and he is 25 and this will be both of our first trips to Disney where we are of legal drinking age. Since PI will be closed, what are some of your favorite bars/lounges on property? How late are they typically open until?

Are there any good ones in the Deluxe resorts? (I need an excuse to drag him with me to see the Christmas decorations!)

Thanks!

I heard thru the grapevine that Jellyrolls at Boardwalk is awesome.......some of the hotels have outside bars near the pool areas too.....

The Tambu Lounge at the Poly, the best drinks along with a plate of Kona wings and I am a happy kid.

Love the Tune In lounge at 50's Prime Time....awesome drinks

Really looking forward to the lounge at the AKL..we are staying there for 5 nights next month and I plan on chilling out with a cool cocktail for a few of those nights!

Can I get that drink in the Pineapple there?!? We're seeing the Spirit of Aloha show one night, so that might be a good spot to stop by afterwards.

Another vote for the Tambu Lounge. I also like the little bar at the Wilderness Lodge...but I can't remember the name of it. Territory Lounge, maybe? The Western Sunset is yummy.

Yet another vote for the Tambu Lounge. My DH and I absolutely love it there. In fact, it just may be my DH's fave place on Disney property! :rotfl: The Lapu Lapu (drink served in a pineapple) is a lot of fun, but my fave is the regular (not Captain's) Mai Tai. All the drinks there are great, though, and the atmosphere is so nice.

Yes but be careful, those suckers are so strong! I can handle my own but this sucker set me afire! Plus they are pretty sour.

They have the most amazing pina coladas and other tropical drinks....you know the fu fu kind!

We love the pool bar at AS Sports

Belle Vue lounge at Boardwalk is fantastic.

Little bar at Jiko (AKL) restaurant is wonderful (we prefer this over Victoria Falls) (Pool Bar at AKL is wonderful also)

Bar at WL is Great. (Pool Bar also great here)

Bar/Lounge area at Wave in Contemporary is great.

We have been known to enjoy a cocktail at the Poly also, lol.

Bar areas of Blue Zoo (Dolphin) and Il Mulino (Swan) are wonderful.

Jellyrolls is the best time ever!

The Christmas decorations at Boardwalk and Beach Club are great!

The bar at AKL, Is it the one that overlooks the buffet at boma? Me and the DW have used that bar as a "warmup" a couple of times when we were on the early side for either Boma or Jiko. Great atmosphere, but not too busy.

The ESPN Zone booths at the bar have free video games at the table. I believe it's a Sony Playstation built into the booth. The controllers are free, but you have to leave a driver's license.

My DS9 decided it was his favorite place to eat!

We hit the Rose & Crown at World Showcase on a daily basis and Raglan Road is the only reason we'll go to DTD anymore. I second the ESPN Club and Belle Vue Lounge at the BoardWalk and while you're there try Big River Brew Company with it's micro-brews.
