keep in mind that most of these places I did without kids, except otherwise noted

1. California Grill - in my mind (with all due respect to V&A) the very best that Disney has to offer. Food, atmosphere, everything was out of sight when we went.
2. Le Cellier - did twice without kids and once with my infant daughter. Awesome steak, soup, and dessert!
3. Chef Mickeys - Have done numerous time without kids and once with.....awesome family experience and a lot of standard buffet food options. Food is good not great, but lots of characters.
4. 50's prime time - Done numerous time without kids and once with. Love the atmosphere and experience of the whole thing.....if you go, I hope you get a server that is "into it". You'll understand what I mean when you go. Food is above average, love the Meatloaf.
5. Peco Bill's Cafe - I know it is CS but this place is a staple for us....love the fixins bar!

Crystal Palace
Cindy's Royal Table
Boma
Rainforest (Unless they've been.. if not the kids will love it... even tho it's not really a disney restaurant)
Garden Grill

CS pinnoccio's!

Also love Coral Reef
hmm... also love wolfgang puck.

Can't pick just five! lol!

How old are their children? Many of the first posts would be recommendations without young children IMHO. A few posters clarified whether they were making recommendations with or without children.
For us, we are now all adults - no young children. I would make the following recommendations for adults.

Jiko
Flying Fish
Bistro de France

And with well behaved children (to round out my top 5)

Teppan Edo
Restaurant Marrakesh

JMHO
