Since there is no podcast for this week, lets share our top 3 podcasts. We all love the Disunplugged, but are there others that you like on other topics? (Are there any other topics?) :rotfl:

So lets list some podcasts, maybe we'll find something to tide us over.

Top 3 for me:

Disunplugged
Limenviolet (a knitting podcast, but they are very funny, and even non-knitters may like them b/c they never stay on the topic of knitting)
3 Wine Guys (I love wine, and I have learned a lot, not family friendly.)

Others worth mentioning:

I like TV, so the TV talk podcast with Ducky and GMMR is good, (They would be in my top 3, but they don't update enough)

I like the soaps, so the Pine Valley Podcast is very funny to me. It is commentary about "All My Children" along with a smattering of other TV shows with a Latin flair. Very funny!

So what others do you all like? Turn me onto something new!

I actually only listen to 2 besides the Dis Unplugged...

I listen to the WDW Radio show, hosted by Lou Mongello, and That's What She Said, which is a podcast about the show The Office.

There were a few other podcasts I'd listen to sometimes, but they weren't interesting enough to keep bothering with. I'd love to find some new ones since I listen to my iPod all day at work.

I listen to podcasts all day at work of all different varieties. Six of them are WDW related but I'll name a few non-WDW.

Dan Carlin's Common Sense and Hardcore History (one's political talk but I like the history one more)

NPR Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me (comedy/game show/celebrity interviews)

ESPN Baseball Today (it's about...uuhhhh baseball)

and lots of news type podcasts 60 min, Meet the Press, The Economist, Keith Olberman, etc.

Manager Tools. A great podcast on how be an effective manager. It's made a great difference in how I approach leading my team.

Escape Pod. My weekly fix of science fiction. Also check out PodCastle if you're more into fantasy.

Be Our Guest. Fun Disney podcast that has a trip report show on Monday and a roundtable show on Friday. The background music played during the shows can be annoying.

Disney Tidbits. I've just started listening to this show. Tairy Rich delivers show short of Disney/Disneyland trivia and history.

Vinyl Cafe Stories. Podcast segments from the CBC Radio show. Great stuff.

The DIS Unplugged is #1- of course!

But I really enjoy 2 other Disney Podcasts-
#2- WDW Radio Show (Lou Mongello) and
#3- All About the Mouse (Brian Ripper & Jonathan Dichter)

I have a few other Disney Podcasts on my iPod- like WDW Today, Those Darn Cats and Northern Mouse- but I only listen to them occasionally.

I love NPR's Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me... it's hysterical! It's a very close #4.

And I also enjoy This American Life (Chicago Public Radio) and A Prairie Home Companion

Disney related it is: 1) Disunplugged 2) WDW Today occasionally 3) Lou Mongello's if I really need to be put in a positive mood. hahaha

My favorite other podcast is "Smodcast" starring Director Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier. The funniest thing I ever listen to.

I can't believe someone else listed one of my Top 3 - The Pine Valley Podcast!!!! Netcot and WDW Today are other favorites.

Some of these sounds neat - I'm hitting iTunes now!

I like
  1. Slate - political talk (liberal)
  2. Buzz Out Loud - CNET's tech podcast of indeterminate length. If you like tech, they cover it all.
  3. Gadgettes - tech with an attitude, Molly Wood, Kelly Morrison and Jason Howell. They usually do a themed show with several news/discussion segments at the end. Really entertaining.

1. DisUnplugged(I know, shocking!)
2. Wine Library TV- wine tasting ADHD style
3. Scrap Time- video scrapbooking ideas

I have to admit that I've subscribed to 34 of them. I fall asleep with my Ipod on, but never to the above 3 and always to the one that doesn't believe in the amoebas. Something about that voice always puts me out like a light. :rolleyes1

I love reading about the non-Disney podcasts.

Some of my non-Disney podcasts are:

Amateur Traveler
Betty in the Sky with a Suitcase
Motivation to Move
American Radioworks

My top three podcasts right now are:

  • DIS Unplugged
  • WDW Today
  • TWiT (This Week in Tech)

I regularly listen to ~6 different Disney related podcasts and about the same non-Disney podcasts each week. I have about 30 different podcast that I subscribe to and listen to frequently enough that iTunes hasn't stopped downloading new episodes.

Spending 2+ hours a day commuting, the podcast phenomena has really helped the time go by much faster than listening to regular radio did beforehand.

I listen to...

The DIS Unplugged -- 'nuff said.

The Strip Vegas Podcast -- there is sure to be a great interview, and those with Steve Wynn make me laugh every time.

The WDW Radio Show -- there is a lot of good information, albeit can be "too" happy if you get my gist.

DIS is # 1 for me and usually I listen to Mouse Guest too. I've tried a bunch of other Disney ones, but somehow they don't hold my interest. There is one that is pretty good, but one of the guys on it has THE most annoying laugh and I gave it up. (I know how ridiculous that sounds, but it's like nails on a chalkboard to me)

Thanks for the tip about the Vegas one Simon, I'm going to give that one a try! :thumbsup2

I also like Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me.

I love podcasts!! I listen to a lot so it's hard to choose between them for the thrid spot. My top two are easy, though.

1. RELEVANT podcast (sorry DIS Unplugged; I laugh more at this podcast than I do at pretty much anything)
2. DIS Unplugged (the only Disney one I listen to - all the others just tell me more stuff I know)
3. The Onion News Video Podcast (Fake news is awesome)

Lessee... according to iTunes, I'm subscribed to 18 podcasts. That probably explains why I'm so far behind on all of them...

As far as my top 3:

1. Dis Unplugged
2. WDW Today
3. Wait Wait Don't Tell Me

Top 3 Disney podcasts:
1. Dis Unplugged
2. WDW News Today
3. WDW Radio Show

Honorable Mention:

1. Stuff You Should Know
2. Stuff You Missed In History Class
3. ESPN Baseball Today

The Offical LOST Podcast, The LOST podcast with Jay and Jack, Archaeology Channel Podcast, ESPN Fantasy Focus Podcast, Baseball Historian Podcast

My top three podcasts right now are:

These are my top 3 as well.

I also enjoy Bill Burr's Monday Morining Podcast and Kevin Smiith's Smodcast. Both are a little on the blue side. And by a little, I mean a LOT. And by blue I mean don't listen in public.
