What are your thoughts about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?

My husband and I will be traveling with our two kids (9 months and 6 yrs) to WDW the week after Thanksgiving. We were thinking about taking the kids to MVMCP but would like to get some feedback from others that have been there before we spend the extra money.

Is it worth the extra money?
