We are going to Mom's with both of my DB and their families - 9 in total!!

my older DB and is family will be staying with us Wed & Thurs night! will finally get the rest of my curtains up and he will help me carry up all my xmas boxes from my garage (unattached) and up the two flights of stairs, hum better make sure I don't have anyother little jobs for him ;).

Will watch the parade in the morning, need to figure out something yummy for breakfast that morning! my DB is diabetic and DN can't have dairy, any ideas ladies for a special breakfast??
head to mom's around 2ish we eat at 4!

Decorate on Friday
Go see Tangled either Sat or Sun, need to check with my BFF to see when they want to go!

Sounds like some family fun for you Lisa!!!!

We are going to my Aunts to do dinner with my mom's family (14 of us including my 5) then to my grandparents to have dessert with my dad's family (23 of us total incuding my 5) . I will make pumpkin and apple pie for dessert and crab tartlets and salad with homemade balsamic dressing and tomatoes and fresh mozzarella for dinner / appetizers. While making those things, I will too be watching the parade...assumming you mean the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. I love it!!

Starting at around 10:00 that night, I will be dragging DH out on our 12 hour (give or take one or two) Black Friday shopping jaunt!!! I am so excited and have organized my lsts to hopefully finish my shopping that night! Later that day, I will sleep since I won't be that night. Then, Saturday and Sunday I think I will get out some decorations and see what I need to get new. I may start wrapping, but more likely, work on my Christmas cards. Monday, DH and the oldest DS are going hunting, so I am taking the younger two to see Tangled. After the movie, we will decorate outside (provided the weather is ok....and no rain) and maybe decorate inside a little. The tree won't come in until like the 17th or 18th since it is live and with the roots to be planted after the holiday.

Turkey Day is at my house this year, so I will be a busy bee. I am going to try and get a lot of my prep work done Wednesday night to make my work easier on Thursday. Wednesday night I will also drag DH out to scope out some of the stores I plan to hit on Friday. I always go out ahead of time to scope things out and get a layout of the store since they tend to switch things around for Black Friday. We will have our traditional pizza for dinner. (My friend owns a pizza place and she said their busiest day of the year is the day before thanksgiving! :lmao:)

On Thursday DH will be handling the bird, when I went veggie 2 years ago that was a duty I was happy to give up. We will get the turkey on then head to Meijer for a toy on super-duper sale that is also on DS's wish list. There will be about 18 people at my house for dinner.

Then it will be off to the ads! :goodvibes My aunt, sister, and I will make our master lists and plans and head out about 10 or 11! I love Black Friday shopping!

I will need to sneak a nap in there somewhere too. :yay:

I am working the Fire Station and my wife is working in ICU SO we will be doing Thanksgiving on Saturday!

Squid

We will be going to a friends house for Thanksgiving- since their daughter works on Thanksgiving dinner will be late but will be followed by shopping that evening/the next morning. The rest of the weekend I will do some baking and decorating and DH will be working on papers.

Small dinner at my house this year. Kids working in and out that day... no extra people invited...

Turkey Breast
DH's Mashed sweet tatoes
Dressing
Gravy
Broccoli or kale
Sweet tato rolls

Hopefully start the Christmas decorating that day :teeth:

Ours is going to be different this year. With mom having surgery on Tuesday, she didn't want to do Thanksgiving tomorrow (what we usually do) and wasn't sure she'd feel like doing it on Thursday. DNiece still can't go out around a lot of people, so we had planned to just do it the three of us. However, Mom decided yesterday that we could "bring it to her", so we are getting the Thanksgiving meal from Cracker Barrel and taking it down for lunch! It looks yummalicious--as long as I get Hash Brown Casserole, I don't care!

Then, after a nap, it'll be watching football and scouting ads. DH is going to do a Walmart run on his way to work on Friday. I'm 95-98% done shopping already, so we're going up to the cabin for the weekend. The highs next weekend are going to be in the high 40's/low 50's, so we can feel like Christmas weather and go see all of the lights!! ;)

Watch the parade.
Prepare turkey for two. (can you believe our main dinner guest went on Medifast - THIS WEEK?)
Take a nap.
watch football.
Scrap? Or just clean up and take a break.

We'll decorate for Christmas on the weekend - but my shopping, even for dinner, is virtually done. There is NO WAY IN HECK I will go NEAR a store on Friday.

Dinner is at my mother's. Even at 99, she still prepares the apple dumplings. After that we will head to the hospital to visit our new granddaughter, and take some dinner with us for dd and her dh.
Actually began decorating today - amber lights in the windows as Roger did for yrs - yup, we will be into more decorating this yr. DD #5 is home from CA for 3 weeks to help her sister with the baby (she is a nurse). so we may have some early celebration.

It's just the two of us this year. So the agenda is:

get newspaper
finalize BF plans
Football
Turkey Dinner
Michaels
Rest
Walmart for midnight cartridges
Sleep
Leave for Target at 3AM :scared1:

dinner at my house. I actually have off the night before so i can enjoy the holiday. my husbands grandmom is coming from MD. this is the first holiday without grandpop. she needs to be around family. they would have married 63 yrs in Jan.
then after dinner we will plan bf shopping. going to reading pa to shop.

We go to my in-laws for lunch at noon and then we usually go to my sister's for dessert. She says her meal is at 2:00, but that means 4:00 in Barbie-speak. We usually end up eating a little something there (I eat light at the IL's knowing I'll probably eat at Barbie's too).

It's Sophie's first turkey day so if they end up eating on time and we're there, we'll play with her so her parents can sit down and eat a meal together ;)

I don't think I'm working on Friday, so I may do a little BF shopping. It depends on if the three items I'm getting for Morgan for Christmas are on sale somewhere. It's a lean one this year!

It's going to be a quiet one for us. Alice is headed to a cousins house in NY so that leaves my parents and the 4 of us. mom and I prep most everything on wed and do the stuffing. so I'll head up there abt 10 and the boys will hunt their way up. lunch is 12-1 when ever its ready.

mom and I will pour over the ads and the boys start idea lists. she and I will be at walmart for??? no one seems to know if the local store will be opening at midnight and the one person I know that works there I haven't seen or if it will be open earlier. Other than cricut and carts there is nothing really on the list until the boys decided but right now they want nothing which is good cause they have it all already.

It's my turn to host this year. Looks like there will be 17 of us. I have to say it's a lot of work. I did the food shopping yesterday. I'll be glad I did it but leading up to it stresses me out.
Then we have to be at my inlaws at 5:00. I don't eat again. No wAy I can. Dh will have a little something so he doesn't hurt his moms feelings.

I'd love to black Friday shop!!! Not sure. I've got a lost going just in case.

It'll be just the 3 of us. We thought I'd be working that night, but I'm not scheduled!!!!! We'll have a nice quiet day of games and movies and football and dinner. Then, we'll head to Michaels to shop. I wish on Wednesday I could just set aside the things I plan to buy so we don't have to deal with the crowd, but we aren't allowed to do that.

Then, early Friday morning DS will ride the bus with his chorus and I'll drive down to WDW. He'll be in the chorus of one of the Candlelight Processionals that night!:woohoo: I'm not sure if DH is going with me or not. Since we just spent 4 days at WDW a week ago it's just a little too much Disney for him (I could go every week and be thrilled, him not so much!:confused3). I'm still twisting his arm, but if he doesn't go, I'm fine on my own. Sometimes it's nice to spend some alone time while at WDW! And, I'll only be there until Saturday afternoon anyway!

No Black Friday shopping for me. I can't stand those crowds!!! Michaels on Thanskgiving night is the most I'll do. I've been hinting to DH about Walmart and the Lite cartridges at midnight and he's made noises about him possibly going. He told me to write down what I wanted, so that's a good start!:thumbsup2

Sounds like everyone has some fun plans.....I never do BF! can't stand all the craziness! Hope everyone who does gets those great deals they are looking for!!!
Talked to my big DB yesterday, they are coming up for sure late Wed night so will have extra time with them  love having them around !

Cracker Barrel is a tradition for us. Once my MIL figured out that the boys would rather watch ball games on TV then sit down to enjoy her hard work, well, why do the hard work? LOL We go for the first lunch sitting and are done in time for the games. :thumbsup2

We are going back to our traditional Cape Cod Thanksgiving, with some modifications. DH, DD, Morgan (MomE's marshmellow dawg), and I are heading up Thursday. (I am going to miss going to M's with BAMB and MomK) MomE will be going to brunch at her friend's house and watch the Manchester Road Race. She will then go over to my SIL's parents house for dinner. She'll come to the Cape Friday and that is when we will have Thanksgiving Dinner.

DH and I have a bathroom to grout so hopefully we will get it all done this weekend. Not sure we will do any black Friday shopping, might go out later Friday evening. Will definitely go to Trader Joes and the Christmas Tree Shop.

Oooh, oooh! I'm not working Friday, we could come there and have a Cape Cod Turkey Day with ya!!
