Hiya

I know everyone concentrates on families and children, and rightly so :)

but what are your must sees for adults only trips?

We all love cocktails so anything that includes them is very welcome :rotfl2:

And what would you normally do for evening entertainment?

While we are not child free we still enjoy having a drink at the HNY and DLH bars, they both have good cocktail menus. The HNY is probably the best for a more adult experience as the DLH has the character meal opposite so gets very busy with lots of kids in the area.

i liked the glowtinis in the red garter saloon in the cheyenne and ina coladas in the SF!!

How about a romantic meal in the blue lagoon or some of the other fine restaurants??

On our next trip we are having romantic meals in the Blue Lagoon and at the California Grill in the Disneyland Hotel. Followed by cocktails at the Cafe Fantasia piano bar.

I have usually gone as adults only trips as I only had my first son last year - so what we especially liked to do is run around as many rides as possible when the parades and shows are on as they are usually quieter then.

What about going to each or multiple hotel bars in a night and sampling cocktails from each? Or there is always Hurricanes at the weekend! Only been in there once years ago - was very funny in a Europop sort of way.

Or there is California Grill for a more adult dinner, the bar in the DLH is lovely too.

Thanks :goodvibes

Oh no - gutted about hurricanes - was really looking forward to trying it :sad1:

Never mind - it'll just have to be the bars I guess. Any idea why it closed?

I guess it just wasn't bringing in enough money. Based on what others have said about it, you're not missing much. ;)

I think a 'crawl' around the hotel bars would be fun. The bars are very nice. :)

It had a bit of a bad reputation. It was mainly only used by cm and locals.

I highly recommend California Grill. We had a great meal there in May. :)

Hurricanes closed in March. :thumbsup2

Oh thats odd - we were there last week and I'm sure I saw signs up about events happening in Hurricanes on Fridays and Saturdays. Hmmm maybe it was for somewhere else and i just got it confused. :confused3

Might have been the concerts at Billy Bob's.

It has definitely closed. Maybe they were old signs that hadn't been taken down?

the signs were still up at the end may and it was closed by then. it sounds like it was a bit seedy!!
