What are your must-haves at these restaurants?

Thanks! and Thanks everyone for these replies!!

A question about the Pop chicken parm:

I don't like pasta. I was hoping this was a sandwich. Do they sell this as a sandwich or can you substitute the pasta for a salad or veggies?

Check the menu again the crusted chicken also comes with a salad and breadstick. The chicken is exactly the same !! I had it both ways !!

I think that the peach tart at the french bakery is quite tasty. I never miss it! (chocolate mousse rocks too!)

California Grill (CR):

At CG, the menu changes very frequently, so don't be surprised to see changes if your trip is still a little ways off. The pork tenderloin and the beef filet are standards and are always available. I usually end up with a fish dish there and I've always been happy. It is usually something in season that I've never had before and it is always prepared well. Last time I had some sort of ham wrapped trout that was amazing. Go there without any preconceived notions of what to order if you can.

For sushi, they can probably make you a custom plate of pretty much whatever you want. The last time we were there we had the hurricane roll which had tuna, and tempura squid among other things I can't remember.

Artists Point (WL):

Only been here once, had an amazing buffalo sirloin. Everything else my group had was excellent as well.

-Best place to get chicken strips?

Everywhere that is disney operated will probably have the same chicken strips/nuggets, which are good. Cookes of Dublin (the CS at Raglan Road) I believe has a battered fried chicken strips that are excellent, and a bit different that what you'll find everywhere else.

-Best pizza?

No such thing? I've never had any pizza at WDW because I've never heard anything good about it. The flatbreads at the california grill are excellent, but not really pizza. Wolfgang Puck's pies look pretty good, but I'm not sure that qualifies as pizza in the traditional sense, never had them so can't be sure.

Good luck!

California Grill (CR):
-Whats a good sushi plate for people who love california rolls, tuna rolls (spicy & regular), shrimp tempura, & avocado?

-Yellowfin Tuna 3 Ways-Poki, Tartar, and Tataki *What is this?? :confused3

:)

They typically have a sushi special or two. See if it appeals to you and try that. They will make a special out of their freshest ingredients of the day, I think. I tried a roll of spicy tuna with a crispy tempura calamari-- it was some of the best sushi I have ever had. I don't like mayo or avocado so I can't really advise on their California rolls.

Poke is a Hawaiian version of sashimi. It is bite-sized (or smaller) chunks of raw tuna in spices, often soy and citrus.

Tartare would be ground or finely chopped, raw, and may be used as a dip/spread for some sort of bread

Tataki will be larger piece of tuna, seared (probably to your specifications-- I'd advise rare LOL) and with a sauce.

I have had all three of these, but not together and not at the CG. I'm sure it's awesome, though, and a way to try tuna three different ways, if you enjoy tuna. :thumbsup2

Pop Food Court:
I love the food court at Pop. They have so many choices and I've always found everything to be hot and fresh.
-Other suggestions???- Shrimp Lo Mein, Chicken Soup (it has an Asian flavor)
-What's good for breakfast???- Chocolate pancakes, breakfast potatoes

Pizza Planet (DHS):
The food isn't fantastic, but it is tasty and I was really pleased with the amount of food that you got. The combos (pizza and salad) are really good deals.

The Lo Mein at Pop is absolutely terrible. I found most of the food there to be just barely passable, but the Lo Mein was inedible.

And all pizza in the parks is terrible. Might be a good deal, but it is IMHO worse than grade school cafeteria pizza.

Here's our restaurant choices:

Sunshine Seasons (Ep):
-Strawberry Shortcake
-Salad and sandwich recommendations please!
We loved the Seared Tuna on Mixed Greens with Sesame Rice Wine dressing $8.39. Had it several times. Once as served and once with Caesar dressing-both very good!

Pop Food Court:
-Ham & Dilled Havarti Cheese Fired Flatbread Sandwich
-Parmesan Crusted Chicken
-Twinkie Tiramisu
-Other suggestions???
-What's good for breakfast???
Last time we had the waffles and even though we ordered them fresh, by the time we paid and sat down they were already soggy:confused3 -I like a crisp waffle. Our best breakfast at POP was the turnovers-very good. And only a SC on DDP.
Also we liked the big bowl of chicken noodle soup too

California Grill (CR):
-Whats a good sushi plate for people who love california rolls, tuna rolls (spicy & regular), shrimp tempura, & avocado?
-Triple Cheese Brick Oven Fired Flatbread
-Salad of Florida Peaches
-Grilled Pork Tenderloin My mom had this and really enjoyed it
-Oak-fired Beef Filet
-Yellowfin Tuna 3 Ways-Poki, Tartar, and Tataki *What is this?? :confused3 This sounds delish. Basically I believe Poki would be either sushi or sashimi with poke (poki) sauce-spicy. Tartar would be raw, chopped up, like Steak Tartar. And Tataki is my favorite way-Raw tuna is seared on the outside but rare on the outside-so good!!!!!!
-"Where Dreams Come True" Honey Crunch Cake

Pizza Planet (DHS):
-Cheese pizza We liked this too-not great-but good
-Veggie pizza
-Salad

Other:
-Best place to get soft chocolate chip cookies?
-Best place to get chicken strips?
-Best place to get quesadillas?
-Best CS breakfast choices? We usually eat breakfast in the room-cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, and pop tarts, etc.
-Best pizza? We actually liked the pizza from the Spoodles window

Thanks so much & I look forward to your replies & opinions!!
