Folks on here have mentioned that I should make a must do list at each park. I have never been to WDW so I'm curious as to what everyone thinks are must do's. Especially in Epcot. We plan to spend 2 days at each MK and Epcot. 1 day each at AK and DHS and have one extra park day at the end to head to the park that we would like to visit once more. DS2 and DD8 with DH and I planning on using child swap a bit since we both like thrill rides.

Magic Kingdom:
- Haunted Mansion (my personal favorite anywhere)
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Swiss Family Robinson Tree House (Maybe not for DS2)

- Tom Sawyer Island
- Thunder Mountain RR
- The Train :)
- Space Mountain

Countries to make sure to visit (and reasons why):

Animal Kingdom:
- Kali River Rapids
- Expedition Everest
- The Festival of the Lion King
- Rafiki's Planet Watch
- Dinosaur
- Triceratops Spin

Disney's Hollywood Studios:
- Tower of Terror
- Rock n' Roller Coaster
- Great Movie Ride

Here are some additional suggestions if you have time!

It is easy to get caught up in the hype of the parks but here are some more relaxing but still exciting places to visit/things to do:

Downtown Disney:
- Get a sandwich at Earl of Sandwich
- Customize your own caramel apple at Goofy's candy company
- Pick up a new ornament for your tree at the 25 days of Christmas
- Pamper yourself at Basin (like bath and body works but better!!)
- Go shopping at the World of Disney
- Grad an ice cream sundae at Ghirardelli
- Build a lego car and race it at the little lego store (and take pics with all the cool stuff)

There are pretty fun things to do there, and if you do want to spend money just walking around is great too.

Disney's Boardwalk:
- Take Disney water transportation around Cresent Lake
- Grab a churro on the boardwalk
- Watch some boardwalk entertainment (magic shows etc)
- Rent a 4 person peddle bike and bike the boardwalk!
- Get some ice cream at Beaches and Cream (surprise the kids with "the kitchen sink")
- Take a moonlit stroll and look at the lights!

Visit some Disney Resorts! (again not everything in Disney costs money, if you can get your kids to do it, visiting resorts is great) Here are some specific suggestions to resorts:

Contemporary (one of WDW original hotels)- Stop in and check out the structure! Look out of the panoramic windows and see what you can spot! (Cinderella's castle, Spaceship Earth?) Park your car there and Hop on the Monorail! Head to the Polynesian

Polynesian- If you can head here at night you can see the Electrical Water Parade from the beach. Hang out in a hammock if you'd like. Personally, I go there because they have the dole pineapple soft-serve. So now I don't have to go to MK to get it.

Grand Floridian- Remember Basin (I listed it above) There is a Basin White in the Grand Floridian. They sell a few different things there. Plus the GF is sooooo gorgeous its nice to take some you and hubby pictures there. (these are all monorail hotels so you can take that to get there too.

A few more personal favorites:

AKL (animal kingdom lodge)- first off the inside is amazing, straight out of a book! Its great, really. Then you go outside to the back of the lobby and voila- SAFARI!!!! You can sometimes catch a glimpse of a giraffe, or Zebra. I love it!

OKW- I just love walking around there, really. Nothing in particular that I go there for, I just like walking around. You can take Disney water transportation from downtown Disney.

POR/ POFQ- Again same thing. I just love walking around there. Because for an hour or so it feels like you are somewhere else! Sometimes that is all you need to take you away from the hype of Disney. Walking through there at night is just gorgeous. I love listening to the music and looking at the street lights. Fantastic. Also accessible from Downtown Disney by water transportation.

Saratoga Springs- I haven't been there yet, I am planning to check it out when I go down in a few weeks. Again, accessible from DTD by water transportation.

Boardwalk inn, Yacht Club, Beach Club- You will see all of those if you actually go to Disney's Boardwalk.

Disney's Swan and Dolphin (Looks like a fish)- Although now "technically" Disney resorts, they might as well be. Give them a look-see, might as well they too are really cool.

All the rest are nice to visit, they really are, but I love checking out the Deluxe resorts and some of the moderates too. Its especially fun if you aren't staying on property. But its still nice too if you are :) Have fun!! You will certainly enjoy it either way!

While there are many more attractions I have not listed that I love, this is my list of must-dos that I must make time for every trip. Keep in mind, there are many attractions absent from this list that are highly recommended if it's your first trip (Soarin', for example).
