I'm planning my first solo trip to WDW in September, and I've set a fun few fun (not-too-serious) "goals" for my week in the parks, including:

- Meet the Fab 5 in every park
- Do at least one attraction in each park that I've never done before (Enchanted Tales in MK, FEA in Epcot, Nemo in AK, and Club Villain in DHS... since there's nothing open that I haven't done in DHS..eek!)
- Do the 4-Parks-in-One-Day challenge
- Eat at the bar whenever possible so hopefully I can make some new "friends" and not spend my week in silence

I would love to know what goals other people have for their trips (solo or not). Please share if you have a little checklist like this or something similar!

Mostly because I'm curious, but also I wouldn't mind adding a few more "to-do"s to give my trip some structure :D

Sounds awesome! There are still a bunch of things in every park that I have never done so my list will be long (still working on it!). We do want to take my nephew around Epcot and do "candy around the world" :-) and also get something signed in every country, maybe a picture frame.

Where do you go to meet the Fab 5 in every park? Sounds great!

Well, in most cases you need to go to each individual's character meet in each park. Which makes it quite a project. In a few cases Mickey & Minnie meet together. And in Epcot character spot you can knock out a bunch of them in one shot. But it's definitely going to take a bit of planning ;)

I love that "candy around the world" idea. I had never thought of that.
I'm taking my daughter on a surprise WDW trip for her 16th birthday. I planned everything around her wish list and her love of Princess Tiana. We're staying at POFQ, which we've never stayed at before, because of the New Orleans theme (like Princess and the Frog). I've booked restaurants that were on her wish list to try. I'm taking her to get a henna tattoo in Morocco (she's been wanting one). We're going to MVMCP since we've never done that. I booked Wishes Dessert Party because she's been wanting to try that for years. I tried to book House of Blues Gospel Brunch (which was the #1 top item on her wish list), but for some reason all of the brunches for that weekend were cancelled. :sad1: It should be an awesome trip though and I can't wait to tell her about it. :goodvibes

Along with drinking around the world we plan on getting candy from each pavilion, our only restriction is staying away from classic chocolate and wafer kind lol

I like meeting characters, trying to find obscure ones I haven't met yet. Also like meeting up with Dis'ers for a meal. Also each trip I try at least one restaurant that is new to me, and at least one new experience. If you have a car it can be fun to include an offsite restaurant and an offsite tourist atttraction, too.

My husband and I have some very specific cupcake goals.
1) orange soarin cupcake (Epcot)
2) butterfinger cupcake (DHS)
3) Labor Day blueberry pie red velvet cupcake (Contemporary)
4) Strawberry Lemonade cupcake (WL)
5) Oreo Bon Bon (Boardwalk)
6) beer cupcake (Poly)

I try to do something new or that I haven't done in a long time on every trip. After over 30 years of going there are still many things I haven't done. I also try to visit a new resort every trip although that is getting hard, I think the only ones I haven't been to now are AS movies and sports. I'm going solo in Sept. as well for F&W so I have a food demo and seminar scheduled for every day. I think I'm going to do this trip with no FPs just to prove it can be done. Since I'm going mostly for F&W, I'll do the mornings in the parks other than Epcot and spend the afternoons and evenings at Epcot most nights. I do want to see AK at night and do the new FWs at HS, thinking of the dessert party for that one.

I have a few "fun" goals for my January trip. The first is that we're drinking around the world for the first time and I really want to make it all the way. The second is that I'm trying a new restaurant in each park I go to (Rose & Crown in Epcot, Columbia Harbor House in MK, and Hollywood Brown Derby in HS). My original intention was to try an attraction I've never been on in each park, but then plans changed and I'm only going to be there for three days and my Epcot day/arrival day will be shorter (won't get to Epcot until around noon) and most of it will be taken up by drinking around the world...AND my HS day/departure day is short too...I'll need to leave by 2 pm at the latest to drive home. So I'll save that goal for a longer trip.

Loving all the ideas in this thread! I'm going solo in October and am gonna have to put my own list together from these suggestions.

I'm going with my mom soon on an adult only trip and our trip goals:
* Find a cast member from our home states and hopefully take a selfie with them (me - Oregon, my mom - Louisiana)
* We've booked the Keys To The Kingdom Tour, so we're stoked to see utilidors!
* We're going to the HOB Gospell Brunch, so that's a bit of a bucket list item.
* Use the monorail resorts for an adult break from MK. Either having a cocktail, a beer or even Dole Whip at the Poly.
* I want to dress DisneyBound at least a few days on this trip, so working on those outfits now!

I'm going solo but this will be my third DW trip. My goal is to ride on my fav ride plus new ones. I would also like to explore more of the overlooked areas and really explore. I'm also trying to eat as many foods from the F&W festival as I can!

That's an awesome list... and gave me some great ideas! ;)
