What Are your Favourite Disney Foods?

roasted chicken at the Tusker House (AK)
Tollhouse chocolate chip ice cream sandwich (MK)
any pastry at Norway (Epcot)

Once, we took a "Chocolate Tour" of all the countries in the World Showcase at Epcot. As we strolled from one country to another, we bought a piece of chocolate at each country. Each piece was relatively inexpensive and delicious!!

I have to have the School Bread at Norway's bakery. And from France's bakery I must have the plain cheesecake to share with dd and the sacristain for me alone!

Hot Dogs at Pecos Bills
Salmon from Norway or Boma
Tollhouse Ice Cream Bar
Salad from Columbia Harbor House
Strawberries/Bananas Mix and Breakfast Pizza from Chef Mickey's
Pineapple with warm caramel from Ohana

We love the clam chowder at the Columbia Harbour House, served in a bread bowl. Even my kids like it! QUOTE]

This has always been one of my favorites too, but the last time we were there they didn't serve it in the bread bowl anymore, just a regular bowl and you know what, it's just not the same!

I also really like the ham and cheese sandwich I had at Epcot, I don't remember the name of the place I got it, but it was on a pretzel bread and it was yummy!

Vettechick99-They are mini loafs of bread with that honey butter, seeing as i dont do alot of fried chicken and ribs I must of had a loaf to myself, actually
it was a good thing i ate all that bread because i was challanged to drink a picture of beer in 10 minutes, guess who did it :cool1: now guess who got dragged up on stage to be the can can dancer what a night

We loved it too! BTW, we are vegetarians and ordered special meals ahead of time. They had a rice dish (OK, sorry I forget what was in it) that was pretty good, but I could have just eaten the break and butter and been happy! (OK, I also wanted the strawberry shortcake  ).

Is it just me? or does anyone else think the turkey legs taste like ham?
what is Tongo Toast (like French toast?)

I'm so hungry! lol

Tonga Toast is at the Kona Cafe at the Poly. It is a thicker bread with banana's (or I had strawberries) in the middle. Then they deep fry it and coat it with Cinnamon Sugar! It is WONDERFUL!! You really don't even need syrup. I also tried the Macadamia Nut Pancakes with Pineapple/M. Nuts on top...VERY yummy!! I highly recommend Kona for breakfast! :cloud9:

Sort of related...the last time we went we had "glowing drinks".

OK - I've gotta know where you got the 'glowing drinks' (ice cubes) ?? I know my kids would love them. I did see some drinks glowing when we were there over New Year's, but I never asked anyone where they got them. I LOVE glow things... my favorite this past trip was a flashing mug I purchased at MGM during the Osborne Lights :teeth:

And to keep this on topic ... my favorite is Butternut Squash Soup from Mara @ AKL or Wolfgang Puck downtown - YUM! http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm867YYUS

MMMmmm! This thread makes me hungry.

MK - Dole Whips
Epcot - Churros
MGM - Brown Derby's Cobb Salad
POFQ - beignets

Only 1 more week until I get to have them all!

Soft Pretzel
Cookie ice cream sandwhiches from the Main St Bakery

Ice cream cookie sandwich from the Main St. Bakery and creme brulee from the Boulangerie Patisserie!!

OMG! I feel like I have gained 10 pounds just reading this thread.. Anyone ever wonder how much weight they gain while at WDW??? (I'l have to keep track this time around cus' I'm on a diet! grrr!) :earseek:

Anywhoo, to add to the list, I looovvveeee the warm cookie sundae from Ghirardelli's at DTD... OMG they have the most AMAZING ice cream creations (and chocolate too!) ... Check it out!.. And it's not a Disney trip without the turkey sandwich's from the Backlot Express in MGM. I'm not hard to please, give me some melted cheese on turkey slapped between some yummy bread from counter service and I'm happy. :rotfl:

AND A no way jose from beaches & cream!! What's better than peanut butter & chocolate?
Peanut butter and chocolate at Walt Disney World!!

Hot dog from Casey's, burger from Peco's bills, and my newest edition on my last trip ceasar salad pizza at AKL. My husband used to love the pineapple bread at Ohana but they changed it :sad2:

Believe it or not, even after a no way jose, ice cream cookie sandwich, and creme brulee, I usually am down a bit after a WDW trip from all the walking!!
