What are your favorite things to do

1st thing is JUST RELAX. Then we enjoy all our sit down ADR's and just relax, OH YA already said that:)
We also will Resort hop and just take in the feel of them and enjoy a little peace and quite time for us.

We've only just started going without our DDs (they have a life now that they are in college). Last time we loved just going to a DVC resort and having an early dinner, then just tour that resort. No pressure to go to the parks.

Boardwalk, Jellyrolls, Raglan Road, take advantage of your resort's ammenities. Explore other resorts, eat at a resturant you've never tried. Take a back stage tour.

Spend alot of time at the pool.:goodvibes Go to what ever park opens early and leave right after lunch. Then back to the pool. DTD and get ice cream and watch the sun set.

We do not have kids but the firdt day all we do is hang out at the resort. Mainly in the pool or hut toub? The next day we will spend part of the day at the pool again then in the afternoon go to the parks. my favortite thing is to have my haircut at the Barber shop. We also like to do some minigolf too.

1. Visit the various resorts at the different seasons
2. Take tours of the parks AND resorts!
3. Pool, hot tub, pool bar
4. boat rides
5. visit the less visited - have you ever visited Disney's Horse museum? (we were the only ones there when we visited this unique place)

We love doing the parks at our own pace and just the attractions WE like best. Our days mostly center around ADRs at our favorite sit down (signature) restaurants. We also tend to see either Illuminations or Wishes every night and occationally Spectromagic. I never tire of any of those.

The best thing....We can get up early and hit the parks at rope drop without WAITING for someone else to get up and get going! We tend to do early park time and then spend the busy time of the day back at the villa until our dinner time. Dinner is usually followed by Wishes or Illuminations.

If we are there during December, we will often insert an "outside the boudries" listen to Candelight processional. We like visiting all the little nooks and cranies of World Showcase too.

Where is it? DD is a horse fanatic, but I don't remember anything about that.

Everything, amazing how you can take your time and yet how much you can do. Without the kids it feels like a totally different place.

We make sure to do the things we can't do with the young kids, the "adult" rides and of course we do some eating out at the nicer restaurants. Also love hanging out at EPCOT countries and sampling some beverages!:cool1:

Visit the stables at Fort Wilderness. The museum is in a small corner of the stables. This isn't anything large, if 6 people are in it, it will be crowded! There's some nice memorabilia that makes interesting reading. I enjoyed seeing the beautiful horses.

I enjoy just spending 'alone' time with my husband  whether it's sitting in the hot tub after a long day, sipping an adult beverage on the patio at Rose and Crown, sitting in the rocking chairs at either the Beach Club or Congress Park at SSR, taking the boat ride from VWL to MK, riding the monorail to either GF or Poly, exploring the resorts or going at our pace through the parks.

We're generally early risers. It's nice not to have to wait on our guests to get our day going. Often DH is in the hot tub at 5:30 AM - of course the ducks usually join him at that hour. :lmao:

1. Shopping (we go to the outlets)
2. A day at the SSR spa
3. Soaking in the spa tub in our room
4. Reading by the pool
5. Going out to dinner
6. Walking around EPCOT
7. Rent bikes

Oh lots of things. All of our trips now are without "kids" since our 19 year old isn't a Disney person. I told DH "he can't be my son". ;)

At the MK, next to the Haunted Mansion, sit in the rocking chair with a cup of coffee and watch the world go by while DH goes into the Hall of Presidents.

At SSR, go to the Spa!!!

Go to DTD and hit all the shops!

Walk the World Showcase in Epcot and visit all the countries.

Relax in the jacuzzi and toss in a "bath ball" purchased earlier from "Basin" at DTD!!!

Sleep a little later; have coffee on the balcony and plan the day.

This trip we're even talking about playing minature golf one evening!!

Play lots of golf.
Jacuzzi
Raglan Road entertainment
Wine outdoors at the Bellevue Lounge (BW)
Ditto on the beach at BC during Illuminations
An NFL or MLB game at ESPN Club (for us it would be the Eagles or Phillies)
Share a Cobb Salad at Brown Derby
Dinner at Bluezoo, Turf Club, Portobello's
Reading by the pool
Catching up on movies at DD

Disney without the kids? Our kids won't allow it! Besides, when I see all the kids there I'd wish mine were with me. Someday though, I look forward to the two of us going and having our own agenda.

DW and I did the concierge at AKV together. We did all of the Safaris and had a great time. We also did a split stay during that trip and took the boat from DHS to BWV to check in there.

The pace was leisurely and enjoyable.

Our next trip is this October- just the two of us again. We're doing MNSSHP. Shhh, don't tell our kids!

Never even heard of the horse farm.. do tell

If your into golf.... Buy a DVC golf card and get a great discount on amazing golf courses. My DH and I did that for a week and it was amazing. Enjoyed nice dinners, and time just to walk around and hold hands:love:

I love going without kids and watching the families rush around at break-neck speed to get it all in. I love knowing what they don't know.....yet, that WDW has so much more to offer than parks and rides.:goodvibes
