What are your Disney World fears?

- our dog running away while we are gone.
Same here. Not only that, but the fines and other drama that can come with a dog at large.

Another thing I'm worried about is losing one of my kids in the crowd. Our upcoming trip isn't our first with kids, but it will be our first without our kids strapped in strollers. I have one kid that is great about staying very close to us and holding hands, the other likes to wander. He gets easily distracted and doesn't care to hold hands, or if I let go for a moment, he thinks it's approval for freedom and he's on his own. :sad2:

Sickness and bad weather. Almost everything else we can deal with or have some control over.

Yup, illness and weather. Everything else is so unlikely to happen, but germs never seem to go on vacation, and weather is always out of control and unpredictable!! (Especially since we are going in hurricane season!)

Been there! On the first trip at that stage with my daughter, we fashioned a flat pouch on soft, wide elastic, similar to a passport wallet, that she wore under her clothes every day. Inside was a cheap tracfone with Mom and Dad numbers programmed in and a written card with our contact info as well. Even if she got lost and freaked out, she could pull out that card for a store CM and get hold of us quickly. Never had to use it, but better safe than sorry!

I'm actually worried about something right now. I am a ridiculously healthy person most of the time. I've been planning this trip (June) for about 2 years. Last month I got a sinus infection and had to take antibiotics.

As soon as I finished the antibiotics, I got this painful lump in my throat. (Did I mention that I'm a classical singer?) I also starting feeling all sorts of discomfort in my abdomen.

I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow, but I have this awful feeling that the antibiotics brought on acid reflux. I've done all the lifestyle changes but I still have discomfort after ANYTHING I eat.

Part of the fun of planning this trip was planning all the yummy meals we're going to eat and I really don't want to go into this having to worry about having reflux. Think happy thoughts for me! I'm hoping my doctor can help me clear this up ASAP!

Dd got strep throat on our last visit. That was a long 7 hour flight she wore a mask home and got a rash from it.

Disney was very kind to work with me on rescheduling a trip we planned when my dad had passed.

I'm worried that my husband who is lukewarm at best about this trip will have a bad time and ruin it for me (I'd feel guilty the whole time that he wasn't enjoying himself), or that being stuck in a hotel with my kids for a week will take its toll on our enjoyment of the trip, or that the kids will be cranky and whiny the whole time and put a damper on things. Also worried about kids being sick, or that something will come up at the last minute to derail this trip I've spent forever planning! So I have a long list of things lol.

-Weather (too hot or too wet)
-Illness/Injury
-Not fitting onto rides

The last one comes from years of being morbidly overweight and missing rides at some amusement parks because I couldn't fit into them. We've been to WDW twice and the only thing I didn't ride due to size was the cars in TomorrowLand (too cramped). I've had weight loss surgery since then so I could do that if we decide to ride them again, but it's still my irrational fear.

About 60 days before we leave, I get this irrational fear my daughter will break her leg and we'll spend all of Disney in a wheelchair or on crutches.

We are 48 days out and my boys have started baseball practice. I have the same crazy fear that someone is going to get hurt at practice and end up in a cast!

I worry that we will make the trip safely; transportation and illness wise.

I also carry a copy of all my ADRs with me to make sure everything turns out alright. I definitely worry we are going to get lost in the system some where!

Oddly enough, even though I'm a major worrier, I never worry about our Disney trips. I guess because I'm in my magical Disney bubble, nothing else matters. That said, since reading the DISBoards, I have a horrible fear of finding a snake in my room. If it ever happens, I'll definitely drop dead on the spot, so of course I worry about how my kids will get my body home!

Being miserable because we are all stuck together in a little hotel room, because I was too cheap to spurge on a family suite!

My kiddos getting lost. I have a very active 2.5 year old. She's not naughty. Just active. Loves to run around and explore. Totally fearless.
