What are your Disney pet peeves?

You don't actually go back through the regular line with the alternative accommodation. You are directed to the LL entrance (or other applicable entrance) when you follow the actual alternative accommodation which requires letting the CM know and follows the process based on each attraction's specification.

This was my experience….we let the CM know I might need to leave the line…left after 20 minutes… told CM…came back when my group texted they were almost to the front…CM let me in to the LL to meet back up.

It's changed over time and the different coasts can have differences based on their own park operations like certain things were different with requesting DAS at DL than they were at WDW and DL doesn't have the same amount of LL options.
Correct, which is why DL's "just walk through the regular queue to meet up with your group" is a frustrating solution. I've dealt with multiple dirty looks and huffs (and I get it, those DL Fantasyland lines are narrow!) I haven't used it in several months as we just skip those attractions now. It was causing even more stress.

At WDW, I'm sure it works far better with nearly all attractions having LL.

It's not walk through the regular line at DL either though. When I said differences I was saying because even the process at the beginning to request DAS was different than WDW such as you could do it at the Esplanade in DL but you could not do that at WDW it was not something you could speak with someone at the park about.

It's changed multiple times over since it was released but you can't judge the situation by what happened at the very beginning unfortunately.

The attraction queue re-entry requires discussion with the CM both at the beginning and at the point of re-entry. People just exclaiming "I'm meeting up with my group" which is what the PP was speaking about are not part of that.

We had been advised to use queue re-entry at our last DAS interview (after previously qualifying) and so attempted to utilize it as I mentioned. We attempted to utilize it at several Disneyland Fantasyland attractions and this was our experience. We were sent through the regular queues at Peter Pan and Alice when we returned to discuss with the CM. Do you know what the current process is for queue re-entry at those attractions?

This was several months ago, so if they have a different process now, great, no issues. I'll try it again on my next trip with my son if needed and see how it goes.

Ok, moving back to the original point of this thread - pet peeves. My newest one is people who get off the bus and immediately unload their stroller right in front of where people are trying to exit the bus. It causes such a backup.

I have another, which is definitely a pet peeve. Loungers “reserved” with towels with no owners …. I don’t quite have the nerve to remove them myself. Coward!
Agreed and it's annoying everywhere it happens (beach resorts, normal hotel/resorts, cruises, etc)

We did have this situation in Vegas last year at the Encore pool this large group (about 15 relatives) of people their gameplay was to make everyone around them uncomfortable so they would vacate that chair in order to make room for someone else of their traveling group, they would stand over someone's chair, crowd in their personal space and being very loud. And it worked everyone around them were giving them death stares and eventually after we decided we were done with the pool area we left and I stopped by the security of the pool area (as you have to show your room key and have your bags searched before getting into the pool part) that they were scaring off guests and being a nuisance. This was also after I saw them save 4 chairs for more than 1 hour without anyone coming down.

The chair game is just frustrating.

This was several months ago, so if they have better trained their CMs recently, great, no issues. I'll try it again on my next trip with my son if needed and see how it goes.

I don't know specifics on PP or Alice, the situation is also dependent on what a guest's personal situation is like their make up of their traveling party (you don't have to disclose why you need to leave to the CM just personal variances interact with what they may recommend you do like solo traveling that sort of thing), but I certainly hope you have a better trip the next time :flower3: , it's not a nice feeling like you're doing something wrong if you're doing something you've been advised to at the time.

Oh and on your pet peeve I so agree! Some strollers are so quick to unfold and others are not at all but at least step off to the side and get it figured out :crazy2:

Another thing that bothers me is when a group of people are walking towards you on the side walk and don't share the sidewalk. Like their party can't be bothered to move so we should go single file.

Or when you hold the door for someone and they just walk through and don't say thank you.
