I know we had a thread about ours, but I'm guessing kid's quirks are a lot stranger than ours. What are your DC's weird quirks?
I'll start.

Oldest DS : always reads 4 or 5 books at one time. And he knows what's going on in all of them and never reads just 1 at a time

Middle DS: sleep walks. Usually found sleeping on the floor under the kitchen table at 2 am

Youngest DS: Every part of his clothing, including his socks, has to have some blue on it or else he says he's not a boy :confused3

Has a tantrum because he doesn't want a bath, and then has a tantrum because he doesn't want to get out

Your turn :)

DS7 will not try any, I mean any, new foods.
He's never tasted:
chocolate (not even an M&M)
soft drinks
frosting on cakes (and he'll only try white/yellow cakes)
popcorn

I could go on & on. Some people say this is a good thing but it makes it difficult sometimes, when we are out (esp. birthday parties).

My DD 9 loves everything Titanic, she also will fight about getting a shower/bath, then once she gets in I have a hard time getting her out. She also loves vegetables and will no longer drink any kind of soda because "it will ruin her kidneys". (Which I guess is actually a good thing.)

DD8: hates singing. I mean, she loves "professional" singing. But if anyone of us tries to sing...she hates it. Even when she was a baby, before she could talk. If I happen to sing to the radio...she'd start crying. I know I'm no Jessica Simpson, but sheesh!

DD5: Is in Kindergarten and knows all her letters....except "G" I can tell her that letter and then hold that flashcard up 10 seconds later and she won't know it's "Upper case G" :confused3

DD8...has a weird thing where she cannot be in the same room when certain shows are on TV. Most are not appropriate for her anyway so it's no big deal but she will not even walk through the family room if they are on. On her list: anything on the Lifetime channel, soap operas, and crime type shows (CSI, Law & Order) or anything resembling any of the above. Fortunately I don't watch Lifetime or soaps, and CSI comes on at her bedtime.

We were eating in a restaurant once and their TV was on Lifetime, and she freaked out - I mean to the point of shaking and crying. :confused3 I have no idea what started this phobia.
