Just wondering. I have a troop of 2nd graders and we really didn't do anything for TD last year. This year the theme is health and nutrition. Was planning on completing patch activity of finding healthy meals around the world and doing in conjunction with some of the Try-Its. Anyone?

Our Thinking Day has always been themed either countries or states. Each troop, usually about 15 participate, picks out of a hat a few weeks before and then does something associated with their pick. My DD's troop is not participating this year because of cookie booths and they are incharge of the father/daughter dance a few weeks later. Too much going on!

Thanks. This is only my 2nd year as a leader. We are also doing father/daughter dance next month and usually work in an international theme. Last year the dance theme was Winter Wonderland so we studied Inuits and made masks. This year the theme is Cruising into 2006, and our "port of call" is Hawaii since we are working on the Aloha patch from the Hawaiian GS council. Just fishing for ideas . . .thanks! :sunny:
