to the Princess Half Marathon? My friends and I don't want to do the whole princess costume thing but something cute and comfortable. Like a princess theme tshirt and skort.
We would love any ideas or pictures of any ideas to help 3 walking princesses.

I am wearing a pink Team Sparkle skirt over black capris and I got shirt that says "My Glass Slipper" and the picture on the shirt is a running shoe on a pillow. Running Princess.com has a couple different princess themed shirts if you are interested. They also have a few items geared towards walking princesses.

I love how creative everyone is, I can't wait to see everyone's outfits.
I'm pretty limited in resources right now (working away from home from now until the half marathon) so I'll have to run in whatever I have right now. I'm just going to run in my super comfy lululemon gear, compression shin sleeves and a smile!

If you check out the other thread, there are some great ideas. Originally I wanted to go all out, but I changed my mind. I'm trying to figure out a costume that isn't totally princessy, but still Disney related. Maybe you guys could look through lists of girl characters and do your take on it with running gear!

We are making it. We are using crystals to do the minnie head on a tech shirt and then we are making the tutus. I purchased the Minnie ears when I was at WDW in October. I am just going to make a green bow for them.

DD's and I are 2 teams we're wearing matching? tulle (homemade) ballarina type skirts over whatever each wears under (for me tights and a pair of shorts with pockets.) and shirts the color of our favorite Princess (light purple UA shirt for me for Rapunzel being I have long blond hair) with small tiaras for the tops of our heads. (mine will be combed under a bun on top of my head) So we'll look alike (sorta- skirts) and like our princesses too.

You could do a Tshirt with a sparkleskirt (www.sparkleskirts.com).

That would give you tons of combinations and you can still be a Princess if you like, without the bulk of the costume (eg - yellow shirt + yellow skirt = Belle, blue shirt + yellow skirt = snow white, green shirt + green skirt = tink, black shirt + red dot skirt = minnie, etc). My friend did an Orange shirt + Green shorts with Goofy ears.

The sparkleskirts are super comfy, go up to a range of sizes and Leah the owner is super awesome. They have both the skirts that can go over your own bottoms and ones with compression shorts underneath.

I'm doing a sparkle skirt with a balance act princess T-shirt - all in yellow - maybe glue some roses to a visor - and then I'm Belle.

I am going as a princess, but not a Disney princess. A Mayan Princess! I wanted something different and this works with my cultural heritage as my dad is from Yucatan. I have a gold skirt from http://www.sparkleskirts.com/ I agree that Leah is awesome! She gave me some good ideas when I told her what I was up to. I'll have a gold headdress with feathers. I could make ominous proclamations during the course about the year 2012, but I think I'll skip that last part ;-)
