Are you doing anything special this Bank Holiday weekend??

Not sure what we are up too.. On Saturday I am out shopping again then in the evening I am off to a Bar-B-Que

Well, we were going to have a quiet weekend but I have spotted some great rates on Laterooms.com for a nice hotel In Birmingham. So we are mulling over going away for the weekend and showing the children Cadbury World, Millenium point and so on. Probably won't decide till tomorrow as Jon (DH) is not feeling 100%.

If we don't go fingers crossed for nice weather and BBQ!

Well, we get the keys for our new house tomorrow - and it need loads of work! So we'll be spending our weekend doing some DIY!!!

Have son and girlfriend home for weekend so LOTS of shopping/cooking/eating required!!!
On Saturday we are going to visit eldest daughter and also my Mum who both live in Swansea.
On Sunday, husband and I going to a garden wedding in Salisbury, complete with pig roast and Clapton tribute band. Monday husband "on call" so a day in the garden for me ...weather permitting.

I don't know what to do with my weekend. I'm getting so excited now its 7 days till we go:thewave: Myself and MIL are going to the hairdressers tomorrow at 8:30 to get our cut and coloured then were going into town to get the final last bits. Saturday evening were having a get together and putting the last plans together Working Sunday all day Then i'm off again on monday and tuesday.

DH and I are going to Brean and we may go travelling round devon and cornwall for a few days, I have got Tuesday and Wednesday booked off as well so it is going to be a nice little break.

We shall probably stop off at Street for a trip to Clarks Village for a little bit of shopping!! DH owes me a Ben Sherman shirt because he left a pen in his shirt pocket and it leaked all over my white shirt in the machine!!!!

for me i have a trip to heathrow airport i have to try and get out of my bed at 5.am my cousin is coming over for a month, he went to live there 6 years ago and this is his first time back over here
and then on monday i'm going shopping with my mum while dh have the kids

entertaining brother and new girlfriend on Saturday. Entertaining two friends on Sunday and on Monday catching up on all the housework that seems to have gone by the wayside this school holidays! So not much resting.

Decorating eldest DD's bedroom!

She has been home from university since sometime in June, but doesn't seem to have made quiet as much progress on the clearing out as I'd anticipated .

So ... this weekend has been earmarked for a BIG effort to try to get the bulk of it done. I've promised her a trip to IKEA next week if the room's anywhere near ready for some new bits and pieces. I just hope it's all finished before she goes back to uni. at the end of Sept!
