What are you reading?

I'll be honest - nothing at the moment! I recently fisished American Star by Jackie Collins. Pure, unadulterated smut!

Smut is good! I love chicklit too - nice light, fluff reads. But now I'm about to start something heavier - House of Sand and Fog.

I just read Secret Life of Bees as well. I thought it was only ok, but it was very interesting.

I just started Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. So far I'm really diggin' it.

I really liked this book. I've read all of Dan Browns books and this one was my favorite. It actually was pretty timely with the pope events.

I am reading Wicked right now... saw the play/musical last month and never knew there was a book until I saw it at Costco.

So far the book is nothing like the play/musical.

I'm reading a fiction novel right now called Pope Joan, about a women in the 9th century who may or may not have been pope. It's good so far.
I just finished Years of Wonder a fictional book about a real event wherein a English town, infected with Plague, closed itself off to all outsoder,in the hopes of keeping the disease contained..really good books...As you can see I like historical fiction
DD is reading some works of Edgar Allen Poe

I JUST got finished reading Dance with the Devil by Sherrilyn Kenyon. It was a really good book.

That sounds very good. I've heard that theory about a woman pope, I'll have to look for it. I also like historical fiction, my DD got me interested some years ago when she was younger and into all the Ann Rinaldi books.

I just finished Oh My Stars, by Lorna Ladvik, I think was the author. Very good story set in the 30's through 40's. The main character is an amputee due to a factory accident, who has very low self-esteem. Her whole life and outlook change when she meets two friends who form a band, one white, one black, and they face challenges due to the time period they're in and prejudice, etc. I couldn't put it down!

Um, sorry, forgot I was on DD's screen name again!

Right now, I am reading 'Tuesday's With Morrie', and also 'Let's Roll' by Lisa Beamer.

Nothing. I used to read 2 to 3 books a week. Then about the time my eye disease set in I stopped reading as much. Now even though I can read online through digital media I haven't taken it back up. I wonder what is wrong with me? :confused3 Reading is great!!!
I hope everyone enjoys their books!!!
