"superfoods: fourteen foods that will change your life" by steven pratt and kathy matthews

Ohh. That sounds good! I'll have to look into that!

Right now, I'm reading, The harlequin tea set and other stories, by Agatha Christie

I have a hold on, THE SKINNY : on losing weight without being hungry, the ultimate guide to weight loss success by Aronne, Louis J.. I think I have a long wait because the copies are on order. That's okay. Lots of books to keep me busy till then.

Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult. I'm almost 200 pages in. I'm pretty sure I know why he committed the murders & if I'm right I'm sickened.

I listened to that book on cd in my car, so I don't know how many pages you have to read to know why.....but I suspect you've hit upon it. Smart cookie that you are. ;)

I just started Two Rivers by T. Greenwood. Too soon to tell if I like it or not.

Finished the last Sookie Stackhouse book yesterday (read the entire thing in like 3 hours) and starte my first Aurora Teagarden (same author) last night).

I read that book. It was disturbing. I thought the end was a bit of a let down as some of the information and feelings (without trying to reveal too much) could've been shared a lot earlier. Just my .02.

I love the Sookie books. I just read the first 3 Lily Bard books and love, love, love them. Let me know abut Aurora! Thanks,

The Aurora books are better than the Lily Bard books, IMHO. Don't get me wrong, I liked the Lily books, too... just liked the Aurora books more.

golfgirl: In addition to A Tale Of Two Cities and To Kill A Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice is one of my very favorites.

I am reading Emma by Jane Austen. I've never read it!

I too am reading Emma now, much lighter read than Pride and Prejudice.

I'm reading Purpose-Driven Life (I think that's the name of it), by Rick Warren. I've heard alot of pro and con about this book and was really curious about it, so am reading it to form my own opinion. I'm only on chapter 3, so I have a long way ago. Has anyone else read it?

I finished the Wally Lamb book "The Hour I First Believed" -- highly recommend it, it's wonderful and very thought provoking. :thumbsup2

I'm currently reading Grisham's latest "The Associate" -- great premise! I love his books, although his endings always stink.

On deck is Evanovich's "Plum Spooky".

I have a ton of books on my shelf, but I think this may be my next one.

I just finished reading Still Alice. Wow, it was really moving. It was a fictional book written from the point of view of a woman who is diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease. She is 50 years old, a Harvard professor in language, very sharp, and all of sudden this hits her. A very interesting book.

I just finished "The Associate" by John Grisham. GREAT book! One of my favorites in a while.

Before that, I read, "The Second Opinion" by Michael Palmer. Also a really great book!

I am trying to read "Plum Spooky" by Janet Evanovich but I guess I am not really in a Stephanie Plum mood right now.

I need another book to read..I work out 45-60 minutes a day and I always read while working out. It doesn't take me long to fly through a book! "The Associate" was such an awesome book. The hour I did on the elliptical just FLEW by today! I started reading and was chugging along, and next thing I knew the elliptical was stopping. I was like..what the heck? And looked down and saw it was an hour. The machines only let you do an hour at a time. Good thing I only had two pages to go at that point!

Plum Lucky

One of the Stephanie Plum "between the numbers" books. True mind candy. But fun. :)

I think that I may in the mood for something a little more classical after I finish this one. I saw part of Sense and Sensibility the other night on TV. I have never read any of Jane Austen's books, so I may try to get my hands on this one.

I just started The Book Thief last night and at first I was like - OK this is wierd, but then I couldnt put it down......

Currently I have open and am reading:

The Next Great Depression by Harry S Dent
The Daily Message, Eugene H Peterson
Voices of the Faithful with Beth Moore
The Smart Cookies' Guide to Making More Dough
The Signature of Jesus by Brennan Manning

I have 2 children and small chunks of time to read in so I always have
a stack of books to pull from. I take a book or two everywhere in case
I have a snatch of time to read.
