I started "The Reader" and cant finish it, for me its VERY slow
Oh no, don't say that. I just got it from DD's for Mother's Day - I asked for it because it sounded pretty good from the description.

I just finished Memoirs of a Geisha. It was definitely interesting. Not an exciting book by any means, but interesting to read. I turned my nose up at it a few years ago, but I'm glad I finally decided to read it.

I will be starting a book titled Little Face by Sophie Hannah. DD's picked this one up for me for Mother's Day also because they thought it sounded good! Guess they want me to pass it on. LOL!

The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger. It is really good, I'm excited for the movie now! :)

I just started "Year of Wonders" by Geraldine Brooks. So far, it's very well written. I have to admit, though, I'm only on the second chapter, so it could go either way.

Next up is "The Year of Magical Thinking" by Joan Didion.

I just finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and went looking for the Chamber of Secrets. I can't find where my kids put it, so I'm going to start Deception Point by Dan Brown.

I enjoyed Deception Point a lot. It is a real good read. Enjoy.

I'm reading Fire Study. It is really really good. It's the third in the trilogy.

Good to know. I didn't start it last night. Ebay held my interest watching a suitcase that got sniped from me in the last seconds. It starts today after work.
I just started "The Innocent Man" by John Grisham...I hope it's good.
I'm interested to find out what you think about this. It's also on my shelf to start.

Five Fortunes by Beth Gutcheon.

It's a nice summer read.

I try to read both a youth book and an adult book at the same time...

I've just finished: Kingdom Keepers, By Ridley Pearson and

Certain Girls by Jennifer Weiner (follow up to Good In Bed)....this book is not at all what I thought it would be like! I thought Good In Bed was light and humorous, Certain Girls had a twist to the end and I did not find it light reading at all!

My next books up are: The Name of This Book Is Secret (youth) and for adult reading, Three to Get Deadly, by Janet Evanovich and
Shelter Me by Juliette Fay

We need a reading smilie!

Just finished TWILIGHT and LOVED it.....:thumbsup2

Now I am reading Bones to Ashes by Cathy Reichs.(like the TV show BONES) A part of it takes place in my home province of New Brunswick Canada so it should be fun.

Just finished "Breaking Dawn" (Stephenie Meyer), book 4 of the Twilight series. Going to reread "Can't Wait to Get To Heaven" (Fannie Flagg) so I can pass it on to my MIL. Then I'm going to begin the Katie Chandler series with "Enchanted Inc." (Shanna Swendson).

I am just finishing Dead until Dawn -the books True Blood is based upon. I really like the book and the series. Have my name on the waiting list for the next book at my library.

I just finished The Keep and it was terrible. I'm annoyed with it for having taken up those hours of my life and never panning out! I just checked out The Cemetry Dance, The Final Confession of Mable Starr, and The Bronte Society. Reviews?

Fudge Cupcake Murder by Joanne Fluke

Love how she includes the recipes in the book.

Did you read any of the previous books? Are they in order and do you need to read the previous in the series? I grabbed this book from the library not realizing it was a series...should I start from the beginning?
Thanks!

The Cemetery Dance: Posts # 1908, 1910 and 1922....Robin never actually said how it was but usually when I read until 1am, I'm enjoying my book!

I've read some of Joanna Fluke's books, somewhat out of order, just grabbed whatever looked good that day at the library. I don't know if you're supposed to read them in some special order, but I haven't, and it seems OK to me.

Oops, sorry! I was very pleased with how this one played out. If you're a aan of the Pendergast novels you'll enjoy it. The authors are back on track now, the trilogy with WHeel of Darkness and the other two didn't really grab me.

Another author that I have been enjoying is Heather Graham (not the actress from the Austin Powers movie, ;)). She writes supernatural romantic suspense.

SInceI got the Kindle I have been exploring some new areas like harlequin type books (hey they were free downloads) and actually found an author that I enjoy, MErline Lovelace. Just downloade a few of hers from Amazon.

Another one is Lara Adrian, she has a vampire series (yes, another one of those) that is pretty good.

Again Cemetery Dance is worth the effort!
