I have finished the first 4 books int the Vampire Diaries series and I really enjoyed them. They are so different from Twilight and the same in some ways.

I have now begun to read 'The Last Summer (Of You and Me) by Ann Brashares again. I love this book and read it every few months when I want something familiar.

Just finished According to Jane by Marilyn Brant, absolutely loved it! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Not sure what I am going to pick up next...

Decided to try to finish off the Anita Blake series, I am reading #12, Incubus Dreams, then I am moving on to The Killing Floor by Lee Child.

Recently finished Certain Girls by Jennifer Wiener & thoroughly enjoyed it. It was my first book by that author & I will definitely be reading more by her.

Currently reading Presumed Innocent by Scott Turow - having a little bit of a hard time getting in to it though. It seems to jump around a bit & the author refers to the characters sometimes by their first name & sometimes by their last name, which had me confused for a while. (doesn't take much to do that though!)

Has anyone read books by Scott Turow - it's my first book by him also.

I will finish "Sandcastles" by Luann Rice tonight. This was such a slow read for me:confused3

I've got those on request from the library. Can't wait to get them...

Right now, I just started reading Bel-Ami. It's the next movie that Robert Pattinson will be starring in.

Just finished Pagan Stone and LOVED it! LOVE audio books. I'm also reading METRO GIRL by Janet Evanovich! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her stuff!

I have a question and I hope it's okay to post here:

If I were to write a short story about a professional gambler and a wedding consultant both with pre cognitive links who find their way to one another by that link, would you be interested in reading it? (And no, they don't about their "gift" from the get go.) It is a romance and I'm working on some terminology before I get going. I found some gambling terminology and I know wedding terminology, so I'm good there. If you need more info about the characters before you decide, please let me know. It's all in my head, but I've got it. :goodvibes

I would if it were focused mostly on the "gift" and the process of them finding each other. To me that could prove to be a pretty interesting storyline. :thumbsup2
I'm not much into the sappy stuff though ~ so if ended up being more in the true romance genre, I'd have to skip it myself. Good luck! :goodvibes

How cool is this??!! That is EXACTLY the way the story is going! :thumbsup2:cool1: May I send it to you when I'm done for your opinion?

Just finished Changes in Altitude by Anita Shreeve. I like all of her books, but especially liked this one because the setting is in Africa. Very interesting reading about a few of the life styles in that country.

I ma ready to sit outside by the fire pit while DH watches football and begin in a perfect world by Laura Kaskschke.

Just finished the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo as well as the Girl Who Played with Fire - both by Stieg Larsson.

I am reading "Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown.

And also, "Burton on Burton" by Tim Burton.

I am reading 2 books at the same time since the 2nd one is a biography.

The Lakehouse by James Patterson

Will probably finish tonight, if not tomorrow (50 pages to go).

I finished, The Boomerang Clue, by Agatha Christie. Enjoyed it. I had an inkling about who was responsible, but I was only half right. Suspenseful. Well done.

I'm about to start, The Christmas Sweater. I heard good things about it.
