Ive just finished reading Dan Browns Angels and Demons and i loved it! :thumbsup2

Looking for some recommendations as to waht to read next so i was wondering what everyone else is reading at the moment?

Im reading Marilyn Monroe - "The last take" at the moment. :goodvibes

Mine is more practical than anything else a baby book called What to expect in the first year! The last fiction that I read was called Playing Away which I read on holiday but I can't remember the authors name

I'm reading Dark Fire by C.J. Sansom and really enjoying it.

Libby

I loved angels and demons too. I am currently finishing the da vinci code. DD read both of these and deception point by dan brown( she said it was OK). And is now reading digital fortress by dan brown and she really likes it.

I read a varied amount of books, this is what I have read the past few months.

I have just read the Da Vinci Code, ( a bit behind the rest of the world, I know) at the moment I am reading The Bell Jar.

before that I read The girl with the pearl earring, which was very good. (not seen the film though)

Riding in cars with boys is a great girly book, for something a bit more deeper the Awakening is good though its not very long.

I also love Julian Barnes History of the World in 10 1/2 chapters though its a book of short stories and definitely not for everyone.

Jane Eyre is my favourite all time book..

I just finished Jilly Cooper's new book and already I cant remember what it was called!

It was good but very long for what is essentially a chick novel

:sunny:

Jodie

I'm ashamed to admit it but I'm currently reading Jackie Collins - Lovers and Players :guilty:

I'm about to start Roses are Red by James patterson.

I love all Jane Green books and marian Keyes. :thumbsup2

I've read all the marian Keye book apart from the last two. my favourite of hers is Rachaels Holiday. There great holiday reads.

Currently re-reading Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series. Just finished Shopaholic ties the Knot. Love this series - Becky Bloomwood is me to a tee. What is life without shopping?

Would recommend these for a lighthearted read. :thumbsup2 Wish she could get another one churned out in the next seven weeks, then I could take it on the plane!

Sara. :)

To The Nines by Janet Evanovich. This is a series of 12 books about a female bounty hunter called Stephanie Plum. Very funny and very addictive :thumbsup2

Jeremy Clarkson - I Know You Got Soul, some fascinating stuff in there. I've still not read the Da Vinci Code, I got it off readitswapit ages ago, just not that bothered. I got David Attenborough's autobiography this week from readitswapit, can't wait to read that one as I'm about to a course on mammal biology based on his "life of mammals" series.

I'm reading The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail, the book from which The Da Vinci Code was plagerised.

just re reading anybody out there? the newest marian keyes, and I've also got conversations with the fat girl on the go.

Carol, I've just finished Conversations with the fat girl. Have to say, I found it quite hard to read and, having finished it a couple of days ago, I'm not sure if I enjoyed it or not. What are you thinking of it so far?

Its ok Joh, I'm sure I'll have the same opinion as you at the end, its not exactly ground breaking stuff. My absolute favourite authors are Carl Hiassen, Colin Bateman and Christopher Brookmyre

Am currently reading a book called Chicken Soup for the Sisters soul. Love these books and this is one that my mother brought back from Canada last year. When i opened it on saturday night it had two scratch cards in the front which she had bought and forgot to do (only one was a winner though). This is one that i take to the gym as it fits into my bag. At home i have just started to read The Invisible Girl by Peter Barham.

I love all Matthew Reilly books. They are action adventures.

I also love Susan Lewis. Romance with a bit extra.

I am reading The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. Not as boring as the title suggests, it's an interesting take on the Dracula story. Great if you like that sort of thing (which I do!)

My favourite book of all time is the Catcher in the Rye by J D Salinger.
