I think I might do a "spoil DH" night, where I'll make a meal of his choice, give him a nice massage and spend the evening doing whatever - playing games, watching the movies that he loves even if I don't like them, etc.
I plan on treating my girlfriend to a facial She really likes lotion and stuff like that, so I also might get her a gift certificate so she can buy some body lotion. As long as she's happy, that's all that matters to me
In years past the presents I gave her included a pearl necklace; she really liked that one
It's also DH's birthday, so we'll probably do something with the kids, as for going out to eat -No way. Restaurants are always so crowded on Valentine's Day and with it being on a Sat. it will be even worse. Nice meal @ home with the kids and a homemade b-day cake.
Because we're both in retail, DH and I will probably have to work that day. But we'll probably end up doing the same thing we do almost every other year which is going out to dinner at one of our favorite resteraunts here in town and then heading over to the mall for a movie. Perhaps Big Fish, if I can convince DH to go see it.
We're bringing the kids along. That's the start of school vacation here and one of the Boston hotels is offering a special that includes tickets to the Kid's Worldsfair being held right next door. DH and I figured that we could get connecting rooms at the hotel on Valentines Day, spend the day with the kids and then have a nice romantic dinner in the restaurant downstairs for just the two of us.
