I've heard great things about Jazz Kitchen while never having dined there myself , most would agree you can't go wrong ! I'm unsure about their hours but I would think they would be open later since they are located in DTD. Garden walk has some great choices as well if you are looking to venture farther or off property. I'm sure you will both have a great evening no matter where you decide :) Happy Early birthday to your husband too !

We are a musical family, and my husband especially is a Jazz musician so we've been looking forward to catching some of the DD gigs. Not too much longer now, I'm already dreaming about taking my own sweet time down main street! Hope this message finds you having a great day when you read it :) :hippie:

My next trip to DLR will be next year, and I'm most excited about it because it will be my graduation trip! :woohoo: What better way to celebrate a long, stressful college journey than with a trip to the happiest place on Earth? I'll be going with DBF, which is also something I look forward to. I'm also looking forward to Carsland and all of my usual favorites. I don't really go to DLR very often because DBF and I like to stay onsite and it's so expensive, so every trip is just that much more exciting and special. Plus, we're thinking about going in October when the Halloween decorations are up, which will be a first for both of us. We'll see.

Looking forward to:

Celebrating my 40th birthday with my DH and 2DS Disney Style

Staying at the Grand Californian for the first time. (Just a plan right now, we don't have reservations yet.)

Seeing DL decked out for the Holidays for the first time in 15 years.

Carsland -- Radiator Springs Racers and Flo's Cafe specifically.

Taking DS on POTC for the first time (closed last time we were there) and hopefully Indiana Jones (if he grows a little bit before then).

Dole Whips and Churros

Character Brunch at Goofy's Kitchen

Is it November yet?

We're so excited to be going after a 3-year no-DL drought. Can't wait to see DD4's reaction... last time we went, she was a baby! Just so happy to be going at all again... looking forward to EVERYTHING! :bitelip:

Just very excited to finally be going to the original park and looking forward to eveything!! :thumbsup2

Just a few of the things I'm looking forward to on our trip in June 2013:
-Watching musical chairs at the Refreshment Corner
-Going with friend that haven't been to DLR since they were little.
-Riding the Tea Cups! It's been a favorite of mine since my first trip.
-All the new renovations in DCA, especially Buena Vista Street.

I'm very excited about just being able to go again!! YAY! Also, seeing my DD turn 7. Also Carsland, and our first Halloween party at Disneyland! Can't wait! Is it strange that I'm more excited than my child is??? She "likes" Disneyland... I LOOVE Disneyland...

I would have to say cars land as it is the first time seeing that ,mickeys halloween party and staying at a disneyland resort for the first time this will be our 3rd visit can't wait October 11th roll on

Next time around, I want to do a few tours. I've been there for a total of 10 days in the last 3 months, so I've seen a lot, but I haven't taken any time to do any tours. While I've been told a lot of what's told in the Walt's Footsteps is "common knowledge" around the Disneyophiles, I'd still love to experience it all :)

And, since my last trip was without my kiddo, I can't wait to see her excitement when we go back, and Carsland is open! I don't think I ever explained to her what was behind all those walls in DCA!

My daughter will finally be tall enough to ride almost all the rides!!! It is going to be great to watch her, plus I love the rides 2 :) and of course Cars Land!!

Carsland!!!!!!! And, my kids said they will try California Screaming and TOT for the first time. Oh, and the Matterhorn! And, did I mention Carsland??:yay:

Just measured DD today with her shoes on and she was 40 1/4 in tall so she will be able to go on Soarin and star wars. And hopefully she will be ok going on Splash. Shes kind of a wimp when it comes to thrill rides and may be too scared to get on even though she likes POC. I'm hoping she will be a little more adventurous after GGC but we will see. I won't force her on anything but I will try and talk her into it.

Looking forward to my 2nd trip to DL and DCA. Spending 8 days and nights on vacation with just me and my daughter. Riding all the rides, shopping, and eating all the fine foods. Part of the fun for us is the planning of our vacation. Can't wait for July 27, that is when we head to California. Went last June and had so much fun we just had to plan another mother/daughter trip.:woohoo:

I'm so excited to be back for the holidays (new years), see the redone star tours, and check out the new carsland!

Oh My gosh there are way too many things equally that I am oober excited about. Cars Land & BVS, Pirates cause it is my fav ride and it was down all last trip, taking my dad to WOC as he has never seen it, going to a princess dinner at Ariels Grotto (Never done a princess meal), and the hot California Sunshine!

So excited to see Carsland, WOC, Nemo submarines, Aladdin show, Ariel's Undersea adventure, and ride the refurbished Matterhorn.

;)
