What are you looking forward to?

Here are the things I'm really looking forward to:
1. Designing my own treat at Goofy's Candy Company.... pretzel sticks covered in dark chocolate, caramel and crushed oreos!!!
2. Unpacking in the hotel, then going to Disney Quest to whip DH at Air Hockey!!!! He's going down!!!
3. That smell that Disney World has. I can't describe it.

For me, the defining moments of knowing I am really there is getting off the transportation and seeing the train station in front of MK. My heart starts pounding, I go through into the park and walk through the locker area and *there it is*....Main Street and the Castle. My heart just goes nuts, tears roll down my face, and I turn and give my DH a huge kiss and thank him for sharing this moment with me and bringing me there. Happens like that EVERY time!

EVERYTHING!!! - there are so many things I am looking forward to about our trip, but I will list a few things that we will be doing for the 1st time this year which we are excited about:

1. MNSSHP

2. staying @ POP Century

3. Le Cellier (dinner) & O'hana (breakfast) ADRs

Splash Mountain (will be DH's first time and my first time in 15 years.)

Hearing "Welcome Home" for the first time as a DVC member!
Staying at SSR for the first time.
Taking my first "girls only" trip with my BFF who's never been to WDW or Fl for that matter!
63 days and counting!

The 1st moment is seeing the big Disney World Sign when we drive onto the grounds.."We have arrived!" Next would we the smell of popcorn on main street.....yummmyyyy!!! I love the fireworks at night......so romantic and a perfect way to end the day!!

Staying at a deluxe for the first time(the Poly!)

Me, too. I wasn't planning on going back to WDW for a few more years, but with all of the sad things that have happened, I decided I need my happy place.
Good luck with getting some happiness- Disney is certainly the place to go for it. I hope the rest of your year gets happier, too.

I am looking forward to just being away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. Being in another place, where worries, and problems go away for a week and my DH and I can relax, eat great food,& have somone else make the bed.We can watch the magic of Disney bring joy to people from all over the world. Sounds cheesey as I read it back....but its true!

I'm sitting her trying to decide what I'm looking forward to and can't decide what to list first!!! This is my first trip without family-just me and a co-worker for 4 days. This will be my 5th time to WDW. It truly is my "hap py place". As soon as we drive into the resort it's so uplifting.. I feel like a kid again. It's so calming and relaxing for me. And this time I can see the parks and eat when I want to. Kind of selfish but looking forward to it. My first trip was when the kids were 5,9,12 and our last family trip was last year for the family/honeymoon of my oldest son and his new wife! And I will miss having the kids there with my but am soooo excited about going without them for the first time. Plus they're all happy for me to be going! I'd pack my bags right now if I didn't need to where all that clothes in the mean time. I have a Disney cd called" Disney's Happiest Celebration on Earth" that I will start listening to in the car TODAY. I got it before our last trip and drove the my daughter crazy! It's just really gets you in the mood, thought I really don't need anything to get me in the mood for a trip to WDW.

5) My mom's reaction; it'll be her first trip to DW.
