What are you looking forward to when you reach goal?

1. Not shopping in plus sizes anymore.
2. Not waiting until it is dark out to go in my backyard pool.
3. I'm tired of squezzing into rides and seats.
4. I want to be able to climb stairs and not just a few...a whole mess of them!
5. But mainly i just want to feel good, be healthy, and feel good about myself again.

(Oh, I had a good ride moment this past summer. We went to a local amusement park and I went to ride the huge coaster with my kids. The ride just before ours they had to tell a person to get off because he couldn't get the belt on. I went into panic mode because I would have died from embarrasssment if that was me, and I was convinced it wasn't going to go around me. Our turn came and I got in and the buckle fit! I was so happy...when we got off the ride I told the girls that it was a good thing I had lost weight because 6 months ago I would have been getting off the ride too.)

Coincidentally my goal target for the end of the month of April is also falling on my WISH buddies (PartyofSix) renewal of vows!! So I am sooo excited about meeting her in person and wearing a size 8/10 dress to her wedding. It's gonna be on the beach (my favorite one- South Walton Beaches) and it's just gonna be a great time for my family and I to enjoy a week at the beach with their healthy momma and daddy! I plan on riding my bike with shorts on and not being embarrassed about the wavy leg syndrome. I'll wear a two piece (even if it's a tankini) to the beach, I'll take long morning walks on the beach without a huge all over cover-up, I'll bring something silky to wear at night night time, and I'll be in LOTS AND LOTS of pictures with my kids instead of hiding behind them! :)

Can't WAIT!!!

I look forward to:

1) Wearing a bikini for the first time since I was about 10 years old.
2) Being able to shop wherever I want to
3)Having no double chin or belly showing in disney pics
4) Being able to wear a sexy outfit for hubby!!!

Hmmm......I need to start getting motivated again, this looks like just the thread to do it! (with holiday stress, and everyone in the family being sick, healthy eating and exercise has been on the back burner)

I want to not worry about whether I will fit in the seat on a ride. Had a couple close calls at Six Flags this summer, and I vow that that will NOT happen when we are at WDW in a couple years!

I want to be able to walk into Victoria's Secret and buy ANYTHING I want, not have to dig through the whole store for the 3 bras and 2 styles of panties they actually carry in my size.

I do not ever want to hear "When are you due?" again unless I am actually pregnant!!! (I carry most of my weight in my midsection, ugh!)

I want to buy frisky little bedtime outfits anywhere, instead of having to look for speciality "plus size" stores online.

spending about 500. on new clothes for me!

Oh one more thing.... When I get on a ride that has a shoulder harness, having mine a whole lot lower and closer in than hubby's!!!

Not silly at all!! I haven't been able to do that in years, and it's a little thing, but one I'm looking forward to!

Some others:
--Fitting into restaurant booths with plenty of room to spare. It's so embarrassing to have to sqeeeeeeze into those tight spaces.
--Buying clothes in the misses dept instead of plus sizes
--Walking into any store and finding things that fit! (Instead of feeling like the salepeople are thinking "What is SHE doing in here")
--Wearing a cute bathing suit--and feeling like I look good!
--I am with you all on the grannie panties!! They're gonna be gone for good! Only cute undies for me!
--Seeing myself in photos and not cringing!
--a beautiful RED goal clippie

This is a great thread, Lisa! Just the thing for a little Christmas inspiration!:D :D

I can't wait to buy myself a cashmere sweater. I could buy one now, but it would be too big in a few months. I want to wait until I can buy one in my forever size.
