What are you going to be for MNSSHP?

Just wondering what everyone is going to be for the big party. The 5 of us are going as:
DD(10),DN(8),and I : Minnie Mouse
DS(14): Green Army Man from Toy Story
DH: Grumpy

We are going to MNSSHP on Oct 31.
So tell me what are you going as!

Okay, my first idea for my family of 4 was to be POTC characters. I made my daughter a dress that would be perfect, and DH looks a little Captain Jack and DS looks A LOT like William Turner. I guess I could be a skeleton or something. But they wouldn't go for it.

So, then I wanted to do toy story, me bo peep, dd jesse, ds woody and DH Buzz. Still not happy.

So, now we are cinderella people. DD is cinderella, DS is the prince, DH and I are the two mice.

It is going to be fun!!!

We are a group of 12-- going 10/31.

The 9 adults are supposed to be the POTC-- I'm seeing a trend for this one. It is so easy-- and everyone can kind-of put their own spin on it. We may have 1 party-pooper though that may not dress up.

DS (10)-- Solider
Neice (16mo)-- Cinderella
Cousin (5)-- Cinderella also

We are going in the PotC dress.
My husband will be Captain Jack Sparrow
I will be his pirate gal
Our daughter will be Elizabeth Swan.
And our son another pirate!

We will be there Oct 14.

Then the kids and I will be again on the 19th. Not sure, but I think I might wear his Captain Jack Sparrow costume to that one I made the costume, and I really love it!

Our 9 yo dd is Lilo (Disney Store costume) and 12 yo dd is her big sister (easy enough to wear surf shorts and hawaiian print tank with a flower garland for her hair) so DH and I are just dressing in our Hawaiian shirts with fake leis. I am lucky I could talk my DH into this - he is not much of a costume kind of guy!

My boyfriend and I are dressing as pirates , 'modern' pirates though, not going for the authentic pirates of the caribbean thing. We were going to go all out, but then felt we'd be more comfortable in a more modern and simple pirate costume. We both made our own. I got a great top that looks very piratey on clearance for $7, and I got the perfect red skirt on clearance at wal-mart for $5. Still getting together all my accessories!

I guess DH and I aren't dressing up - but I saw the coolest "Nerdy Tourist" costumes at Target. I just couldn't spend anymore of our vacation fund.

We will be at the Oct 26 Party.

Miscrapper...when are you going....you took our idea, but we are just dressed as for a Hawaiin party, didn't think of Lilo and Stitch!!!

2 DD grass skirts and flower lei bikini like tops with lei headband

we are going on the 14th...will we bump into our mirror image

DH and I are wearing pumpkin shirts (I am lucky I even got him to agree to that!). DD will be Princess Aurora! This is our first MNSSHP and we can't wait!!!!!

I am staying with/visiting a friend who lives down there & we are going on Oct. 31. My first thought was pirates, but I'm glad we decided against that! We'd blend in with the crowd!

Last year, Wal-Mart had a "greek goddess" costume that looked just like Meg (from Hercules). My friend was going to try to get that, & I would go as either Mulan or Sleeping Beauty.

Other wise, I think I will be cleopatra.

DH is wearing a t-shirt that says costume, I am lucky to get him to wear that.

I dont know what to wear!! I just love the princesses, cinderella in particular. Dont know what it would do to those kids to see a 200+++ lb cinderella! I could put a sign on myself that says

"Cinderella after marriage, kids, and a really great chef!"
