some "lipsticks" (chapstickswonder how much longer I can pull that one off...)
I still do that with my 6-year-old. Works great! I don't know if she truly doesn't know the difference or if she's just happy with it either way.
As for my 3-year-old, she is not getting much from us. My kids have so many toys that their rooms are overflowing, they don't like to pick them up and they refuse to give away old toys to make room for new ones. Plus, they will get a lot from family members, including $100 each from my DH's dad. They will likely want to buy even more toys with that.
We hit the Toys R Us Black Friday sale and got her:
- Roll to the Rescue Tigger ($15)
- Transform and Go Little Einsteins Rocketship ($10)
- Tinkerbell high-back chair ($12.50)
- Various stocking stuffers
I toyed with getting her a V. Smile Pocket, like her brother and sister are getting, but I don't think she is ready for that yet.
I do know that both girls are EACH getting a 4ft tall dollhouse from my dad and stepmom, even though they share a room. I'm still not sure where I am going to put both of those, unless I move the Disney Princess Kitchen, which my 6-year-old won't tolerate. Maybe one can go in the boys' room
