Between our daughter, DH and me, we have bought our 2 1/2 year old grandson the following for Christmas:

a train table for his Thomas train set, the GEOTRAX TimberTown Railway with the On the Go Zoo addition, Dragon Fortress, Lincoln Logs, Handy Mandy Work Bench, Handy Mandy Talking Tool Box, Little Spike the Dinosaur, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Play Doh Fun Factory, Toy Story and Scooby Doo Figurines, a Spiderman, clothes, shoes and stocking stuffers.

Yep, the little guy's all set! I was wondering what others are getting their children in this age range. So list away...

DD is obsessed with everything "pretty" this year so she's getting a bunch of princess dress-up things, some "lipsticks" (chapsticks;) wonder how much longer I can pull that one off...) a train set, some books, a few DVDs, Snow White cooking set, an imaginext dinasour playset and a bunch of other things I can't remember! I was "done" shopping by the end of September but I keep buying more every time I go to the store:lmao: My walk in closet is no longer "walk-in". Guess I should start wrapping and see what I have....

My 2 and a half year old DS is getting: the Imaginarium Train Table, a pop up Thomas Tent with a tunnel, Lego Duplo blocks, a Cars Paint Book, a set of Cars Board Books, a Zhu Zhu hamster, Rosie Christmas Train and Dirty Tub Dogs and Backyardigans Dvd

In his stocking: Cars sippy cups, mini puzzles, coloring book, tube of M&Ms, a musical Charlie Brown, Snoopy Toothbrush,

From my mom: Shake and Go Speedway, crayons, money for pre preschool, Lego Duplo Firetruck

Inlaws: Doctor kit, Up Dvd, Aquadoodle

My Aunt: Bead Maze, Puzzles, Hess Truck

Uncle: Mickey Mouse Choo Choo Express

I ( I mean he:rotfl:) really wants the Handy Manny toolbench but its not in my budget

We got my neice: Tinker Bell Dress Up Set with Rosetta and Silvermist, Doll that talks in Spanish and English, Dora Doll, Baby playset including: high chair, crib, and changing table, and a lot more.
We got my nephew: spiderman stuff, clothes, shoes, more clothes lol, a "bike", drums, a guitar, symbols, and a bunch more.

Happy Holidays everyone!!!
:santa::santa::santa:

My 2 1/2 year old is getting a Leapster 2 with 2 games (does well with his sister's v-smile and the wii games he plays). A Duplo block set. A book and Some dinosaurs toys. (He only gets 6 gifts at our house) I'm not sure what my parents, dh parents, or dh grandmother is getting him or our dd.

My 2 1/2 year old DS is getting Up DVD, Bolt DVD, all the Zhu Zhu hamsters and accessories even the new colors...got them at 6 am this morning, the Geo Trax starter set and Timbertown Railway, Talking Sid the Science Kid, some PJs, tons of Disney toys in his stocking, Clickstart Computer with Diego, Ni Hao Ki Lan, and 3 other games, and Chuck the Talking Dumptruck set with vest and hardhat, Fridge Phonics by VTech and a Shake and Go Lighting McQueen.

I am so excited for Christmas morning! What a magical age this is.

Two is a hard age to buy for! My DS is out of the baby stage, but too young for the toys with little pieces yet. We bought him PlayDoh, Mr Potato Head, Lego Duplo blocks set, a large red dinosaur, books, Handy Manny bath toys, Nickelodeon electronic game, handy manny pjs, step2 tool set, and Swim to me Puppy. He loved the HM work bench but we thought he would be too young for it yet (he just turned two in October), but that looked like a toy kids would love! Merry Xmas everyone:)

My son (2) is getting: Bee Bop Band Set (Drums full of instruments), Sit 'n' Spin, puzzles, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toys, Story Reader, Little People Farm/School/Bus, Aquadoodle, train toys, books, some movies, Mr. Potato Head, sippy cups....There is more, but I can't think.

My almost 3 year old DS is getting more track for his Thomas train table. More Thomas trains, Leapster 2 w/3 games, Leapfrog Scribble and Write, Tag reading system, some clothes. I know there's other stuff but I can't think right now and its all wrapped under the tree already.

Nice lists so far.!!! The little ones are going to have a great Christmas. I forgot to add the DVD's we got him... Lilo & Stitch, Santa Buddies, Snow White and Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaur. Wanted Toy Story 2 but can't find it anywhere. I think Disney locked it away. Grrrr. I also picked him up some books. I really enjoy reading to the little guy. For his stocking, he's getting a Hot Wheels car, fighter jet, CARS car, Thomas trian, a toothbrush, socks and of course candy. '

Lstar311 We got the Imaginarium train table as well. Chose it over the Thomas one because it has storage drawers.

Its really nice to see everyones list of goodies. Thanks everyone. I hope you and your families have a wonderful Christmas.

Our almost 3 year old will be getting from us, santa, and the grandparents we live with.
Geo Trax - Cars set and extra track
Tag Jr and books and case
Several dvds
Moon sand
Some shirts
And
Small trinkets for the stocking.

No clue what other relatives will treat him to.

He is ready for santa to come and asks everyday if today is the day, he really understands this year. We can't wait to see his reaction.

Tiggerlovinggrandma--I chose the Imagainarium Table over the Thomas one mainly because of the price. We got the one that comes with all the tracks and cars since he doesn't have many and it was such a better deal than Thomas.

I think a realy cool gift they are going to enjoy (3 and 4 yr.old) and it was not realy that much $35 I think at Toys r us. is an electronic drum key board. what I realy liked is when you turn it on it does not default to a real loud level. it comes with drum sticks but you can hit the pad with your hand and it makes "drum noises"

Our DD who is 3, is getting a dollhouse with furniture and dolls, Leapfrog TAG reader and books, a couple of movies, Jumpstart game for the Wii, clothes, clothes and more clothes, Princess Tiana dress and musical instruments, Mulan, Jasmine and Belle dolls to complete our princess collection, Uno Moo, Don't break the ice and Super Why games, Princess and the Frog soundtrack, My 1st Encyclopedias and some books, arts and crafts supplies and some other odds and ends! Should be fun trying to find room for all of these new toys!!:scared1:

DS is 3 1/2. His big gifts this year are the Disney Monorail Playset, Shake N Go race track, Mickey watch, Toy Story Mania for Wii and a Nintendo DS (got him a used one and Mario Kart game, plus he can play all our old GBA games on it). And of course some CARS.

Last year at 2 1/2 the hit gifts were Spike the Dinosaur, Imaginext Pirate Ship, toy guitar, TAG reader, and Crayola Easel. He still plays with that stuff almost daily along with all his 60+ CARS.

He got the Imaginarium train table for his 2nd birthday and hardly ever uses that. He does play with his trains a lot, but he builds them on the floor instead and the table is basically just storage. Kind of a waste, glad I didn't spring for the $$$ Thomas stuff. Santa is debating bringing him some new train tracks for Christmas though with a note to stop breaking them. He breaks off the nubby-connector things when he takes them apart...Mommy and Daddy have been warning him forever to stop doing that and if he can't get them apart to just ask for help. Maybe a note from Santa will do the trick ;)

My 3 yr old DD is getting from us:

Rose Petal Play Cottage (Santa)
V-Tech Laptop
Disney Princess Trunk Dress-Up Set
Little Mommy Doll
Stocking Stuffers from Dollar Tree....crayons, trinkets, rings, bracelets

My DD2 1/2 ( 3 in Feb) will be getting a Cinderella doll, a barbie, a baby snow white doll, extra barbie clothes, play jewelry, paint set, a giant chocolate bar (the only thing she asked Santa for - she calls it "brown candy"), and a ton of snacks and juices as stocking stuffers.

For our little 2.5 year old....

Mack the Truck carrying case for his....
"Cars" matchbox style cars
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Vtech toy laptop
Playdoh, lots of playdoh...

Some random stocking stuffers from the $1 bin at target.

He says just about everyday..."Santa is gonna bring me my Mack!!!!"

DS got this from both sets of grandparents for his 2nd b day....he LOVEs it!

We got our 2 1/2 yo DD a Disney Princess Musical Vanity, a Belle doll that you can fix her hair and put makeup on, lots of clothes, Princess and the Frog musical instruments, Ariel bath doll and lots more!

Can you see a trend?? She LOVES anything Disney! That's my girl!
