Well, you might say that...until you move into Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister etc! Very costly! Although my dd13 is a good bargain shopper and only buys off the sale rack.

My 3 dd's won't wear Limited too, too glittery/girly or something. Luckily, they all like Old Navy.

I thought this year it was MUCH easier to shop for my 12 year old step daughter than my 6 year old son! DSD is getting a Tink MP3 player, Starbucks gift card (she loves it like me!!), lots of clothes, the 2nd and 3rd Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books, some makeup of her own, flannel sheets for her bed, and other trinkets.

My 12 yr old DD asked for a new room and... are you sitting down? BRACES!! Her teeth aren't even that bad. We have been planning on getting them for her when her older sister is finished.. but now with her being so obviously desperate for them....

She is getting a new bedroom. I have most of it already bought and or ordered. I just need to get a new dresser and night stand. Then right after Christmas we begin the horror of cleaning up her room and painting huge circles on her walls.

She is also getting some clothes (Hollister) shoes (Phat Farm) and books she has wanted.

Thank you for that great idea. I bought DD a full wetsuit and wanted something else surf related to put in her stocking.

DVC Jen- DD just last night asked to have her room redone too! I'm thinking this would be a great bday gift, but hubby doesn't want to paint in Jan. since we can't have the windows open.

My daughter has all big ticket items on her list, some which are not mommy approved. She is getting the NDS bundle with Ndogs.

I'm trying to find something that is not a computer - video game - tv related item....

She has several AG dolls but I think she's on the edge of 'playing' with them. She asked for Kit but not for any clothes etc. She did ask for the stroller but I'm not sure I want to spend the money I think she will outgrow by next year.

She wants the Doodle bear but it looks.... dull, for lack of a better word.

This is such a hard age. Maybe I'll get her something softball related. She's a softball fan.
