I can't believe I'm actually thinking of going from just a quick one day visit to perhaps being an AP holder! So what are you planning to do with yours?

It worked out great for us. We cruised on the Wonder over Spring Break and used our single day tickets to enjoy MK the Friday after we got back. I had originally planned on just coming back home after the cruise, but with the free tickets decided to spend a day in the park. Coming home right after the cruise would have still been cheaper since I decided to stay 2 nights in a cabin a Fort Wilderness, of course justified because we had the free park tickets. LOL

DD will be getting a park ticket with hers, DH and I have AP's so we have debated on saving them for our renewal in August vs getting GAD FP. But the more I read about great GAD FP experiences the more I am leaning toward that option, that way the 'what if we don't go' stress of August will be gone and I won't feel like I'm throwing away good money if we miss that trip and can't exchange for our AP renewal.

Surpising my DD's. We did a family volunteering project back in Jan., and they do not even know about the GAD vouchers. We are set to check in at Sheraton's Vistana Resort the day after they get out of school. This will be my youngest's 1st trip to MK. She had a blast on the cruise last year, and I can't wait to see her reaction's to Mickey & Minne this year. I'm not sure how much longer I can keep it a secret.

We were visiting family in southeastern Florida so we did a 2-day trip up north to see the Kennedy Space Center, then headed over to Orlando to visit the Animal Kingdom. We chose AK because my teen DD wanted to go there, and also it was a nice short day so we could make the 2.5 hour drive back down to my folks' house afterwards. This was early March and the weather was the chilliest in Africa & Asia that we've ever experienced (our trips are usually August/ September) so we really got to see a lot. Couldn't see our matching T-shirts underneath the jackets & sweatshirts, but waddya want for nothing?

It worked out great for us. Without the GAD pass we would have just done KSC and called it a day.

We used ours towards a 5 day pass last week. It was a steal of a deal, I am so glad and thankful that it worked for us.

And the woman working the counter made it so easy to upgrade right there outside of AK. It was wonderful and I am so thankful that Disney did this promotion.

My DH and I were at WDW for 12 days in March. We have annual passes and debated whether we wanted to get the GAD FPs or the AP pin set. During our trip I was five months pregnant, so I wouldn't be able to ride any of the mountains or other thrill rides. It worked out that I either let DH use both his FP and mine from our AP so he could ride twice, or I walked through the FP line with him and then used the chicken exit to meet up with him after. We decided that with careful planning we wouldn't need the GAD FP's so we opted for the AP pin set. It really is cute and since we're doing a Disney themed nursery, I know that one will go on the bookcase in there as a special memento from our last trip to WDW before our son joins us this summer. :goodvibes

I really like this year's promotion. Unlike to last year's, I feel this year's really celebrates togetherness because more than one can share in Disney and with so many options!:grouphug:

I love these answers too!:thumbsup2

Going for the fastpass. It just really helps move you through the park a bit faster and less stressful for ME. Last time we were at Disney we took 7 of us and it was so crazy... this time will be so nice with only 4 and the fastpass.

With the heat and crowds in June, we are using ours for FP. We each have a voucher, so we can have FP for each park. :cool1: With mid-day breaks, we should have nice relaxing time.:lovestruc

we used hubbys at hs this week or last. but found it not the best for us. a the lines have been minimal, and b ds cant go on tower, rnrc or star tours. so we had 9 fp's for star tours to use up, we shuttled all day between st and tsm. i did end up giving one single fp away for st. this week while at the park, instead of using mine for fast passes, and wishing i had rethought this and donated to chairty, i used it to get the mickey figurine with pins. it is very cute! and im glad i did. its a set of mickey ears with i think 7 pins stuck in it. kermit, miss piggy and then the regualr gang i believe.
