Today is Monday & it's shopping & baking

I went to work today and I am home now surfing the net.

But did anybody else notice how few, if any, people said they actually went to Church today?!?

Does ANYBODY go to Church on Sunday's, any more?!?

Today is my youngest ds birthday, Connor turned 2!! We had a birthday party and my friends with young kids all have boys. So I had 6 little boys running through my house at full speed, lol. Plus my 2 oldest teenage sons hiding from them in the computer room.
My house is now trashed but atleast its quiet.

Beth - no church for me


I did a lot of laundry, 9 loads. I cleaned a closet and two drawers in the kitchen. I went to an antique store this afternoon with my teenage daughter and browsed around there for a few hours.

My husband actually made spaghetti sauce from scratch and I cooked penne for supper.

And I spent time on the DISboards of course!

Painting, painting, painting. Trying to get our house on the market in a week. Yuck! Skipped church this morning because we were at my parents' house last night (my dad's b-day) and dh decided to do something to their computer and he broke their computer! We were over there way too late while he tried to fix it! He had to take it to Best Buy today and they charged an arm and a leg!

We had a crawfish boil at our house today. Got a little wet in the afternoon...didn't stop the horseshoe tournament though!! Now...we're all exhausted...me, DH, DS and the two dogs are all about the call it a night even though it's just 9:30pm. It was a fun day, but very busy and we still have some cleaning to do tomorrow since we got caught in the rain.

4greatboys---that sounds like this weekend for me..i am an assistant teacher in a day care center, and the kids in my class try to get me to go to their parties and such..since i am livinghome and attending college now,i usually go....therewere 20 5 year olds ..and a 15 and 16 year old hiding upstairs!

Well..... for those who are interested, my family and I DID go to church. We don't usually miss unless someone is sick or we are out of town. Truth be told, I could have easily been talked into skipping, but glad we made the effort and went.

DH and I spent the rest of the day finishing the footing holes for the new deck (see "What did you do today?" Saturday thread for the fun story of STARTING the footing holes!). The holes are completed and ready for the inspector to check today in the rain!
DD and DS played with neighbor kids for a while in the afternoon and then we got some "fresh" pond water for the tadpoles we have!...............................P

Well, yesterday (Sunday) I had to work from 12:00 - 5:30, then I came home and showered and we went out for supper (pizza: ham, double pepperoni and double anchovies!!!) then came home and watched the movie "Plainsong" on TV.

Today (Monday) I am DISing then I have some housework and laundry to do this morning, then this afternoon I want to take a nice, long (probably 3-4 miles) walk then do a little "extra" spring cleaning.

I'm off work FOUR DAYS IN A ROW this week!! Yippee!!!

Lol, yes I went. I ended up socializing more than working out though.

I wish today was Sunday again.
