What are you doing for the first time this trip?

Our trip is in two weeks. Here are the planned "firsts" for this trip for us. We'll see how many we make though:

-July in WDW...and of course July 4th
-Stay at Polynesian DVC Studio
-Standard View 1BR at Bay Lake Tower
-AK Backstage Safari Tour
-BOG Breakfast
-Trails End for breakfast or lunch or dinner?
-Both waterparks in one trip...hopefully multiple times
-DisneyQuest
-New Downtown Disney...maybe try a new restaurant there?

I think that's it for now. Oh and my husband and son will do the Behind the Steam Trains Tour and my son will celebrate his 11th birthday in Disney. My oldest son is also hoping to drive the Sea Raycers for the first time now that he is tall enough!

Three new things for me! One, it'll be the first trip without my whole family. Just me and Hubs! We're also doing KTTK this time. I also got a BOG lunch ressie :-)

I love to hear about everybody's trip plans, especially "firsts" to get some new ideas!

Our firsts include:
  • Via Napoli
  • Monorail crawl
  • Riding Sea Racers
  • 7DMT
  • Be Our Guest
  • Drinks around the world
  • Festival of Fantasy
  • Frozen Sing-a-Long
  • Starring Roles cupcakes

Let's hear from you!
If you are looking for a good Italian Meal, skip Via Napoli and hit Portabello in DTD instead. Absolutely AMAZING!! You can use your dining plan there, and you will get huge portions that are shareable. DELICIOUS!!!!

Some firsts on our (me and my mom) last trip in april 2015: pooh:pooh: - crystal palace pooh breakfast pooh: - tusker house character breakfast. - akershus princess breakfast. - enchanted tales with belle. - meeting pocahontas & anna/elsa. - mexico boat ride. -Custom leather bracelets with me and my bf's anniversary as souvenirs for me and him. - dinner at trex

We have a lot of firsts this trip, but that was intentional! Here are ours:

Phew that was a long list! We're hitting the signature dining options hard this trip. It could be our last WDW trip without little mini-me's so we wanted to make the most of it. Needless to say, I'm super excited!

Can't wait for our trip next September (2016). I'm going to try to get:

BOG Dinner Ressie
7DMT
AKL Savannah View (Can't wait for this one !!!)
Parasailing at Contemporary

Well, there are a few for us....but the big one is our next trip is a foray onto the dark side :-) four days at UO staying at Cabana Bay and doing both parks.
But on the Disney Side, we're doing a bunch of new things. Really shaking things up this time.
Staying at Carribean Beach
7DMT
Typhoon Lagoon (never been to a disney water park)
Disney Quest
And several new restaurants:
Crystal Palace
T-Rex
Raglan Road
Chefs de France

I think that's it, as if it weren't enough!

Hmmmm....not sure, maybe meeting Anna and Elsa....if we can get a FP, otherwise nothing new

I think that's it for now. Oh and my husband and son will do the Behind the Steam Trains Tour and my son will celebrate his 11th birthday in Disney. My oldest son is also hoping to drive the Sea Raycers for the first time now that he is tall enough!

UPDATE: 3rd of July Fireworks at MK were outstanding as were the 4th of July fireworks at EPCOT. Our room at Tokelau at Polynesian Villas was FANTASTIC! We still love Bay Lake Tower as well. The AK Backstage Safari Tour was very much worth it...just fun, great guides, good food...overall outstanding. BOG Breakfast lived up to the hype and was also good. We loved the waterparks...both of them. Better slides at Blizzard Beach and better main pool at Typhoon Lagoon of course. And the Behind the Steam Trains Tour was also given high marks by my DH as well as my 11 year old son!
