What are you doing for the first time this trip?

This will be an "epic" trip for us. Firsts for us this trip:
BBB
Space Moutain
7DMT
EE
staying on-site
Pirate League
character meals

Just listing these things makes me feel like I've never gone to WDW.

This time I don't know that I will have a first. I'm only going to be in Disney for a day and a half. I was thinking that since I was going to be in MK for the full day that I might try and book the Marceline to the Magic Tour. I'm not sure though - that is 4 hours out of the only full day I have.

For my half day, I'll be in Epcot so not really enough time to try much new unless I go for a new restaurant - anybody know how Garden Grill would be for a solo person? I've never eaten there.......

Firsts for this trip:

Just mom and me going (we've never done a mom and me trip to anywhere)
Eating at Biergarten
Eating at OHana for breakfast
Staying at CBR
Going to MVMCP
Probably do a rope drop

I've never been there solo but I think it would be good. You rotate around the living with the land ride so there is always something to look at and the characters have good interaction but no handlers to take pictures for you. I went with me and 3 adults and we had a good time. The only thing I can think that may be a minus is you will probably have way more food than you could ever eat.

I love these threads. We had a bunch of firsts planned for our last trip. Some of them worked out, others not so much.

This time around, we will be doing:

Biergarten
Crystal Palace supper
Rock N Roller Coaster (first time for me, DS and DW have done it already)

Here now for my 10plus trip! Several firsts, Be Our Guest, Coral Reef, test track, Pirates and Pals Cruise, Star Wars weekend, being in the SWW motorcade with DN9, LILO & Stitch breakfast.

Our first MNSSHP, Keys to the Kingdom Tour, Tokyo Dining. Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre, and first stay WL and first time at Club Level. We are very excited about this trip!

Traveling with 11 people
Staying at BWV
Beaches & Cream, Trattoria al Forno, Chefs de France, BOG, The Plaza
7DMT
Blizzard Beach
Frozen Summer of Fun
Memory Maker
FP+

We have tons of first this trip. We haven't been since 2011

Staying at the poly and bc
Taking ME
BOG dinner and a few other ADRs
Memory maker - did PP before
FP+
Cali grill date night
Blizzard beach
New fantasyland

Firsts for us this trip are:

Staying at POR
BOG
La Hacienda de San Angel
Tokyo Dining
Beaches & Cream
Tusker House
7DMT (all of new Fantasyland actually)

Still debating on doing Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour. I REALLY want to do KTTK but DD is only 14 so we've got 2 years to go before that's an option for us. If we do it then that would be a first as well, since we've never done any of the tours.

  • Fantasmic (ashamed to say I've never seen it in 10 trips o_O)
  • Via Napoli
  • Cinderella's Royal Table
  • Staying at PoP Century resort

This will be my 3rd trip, but lots of firsts:
* 1st time staying at Art of Animation
* Cinderella's Royal Table lunch (1st time doing any character meal)
* Festival of Fantasy parade
* Enchanted Tales with Belle
* Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet
* Wishes
* 1st time ever going to Epcot! - Looking forward to lunch at Akershus, exploring the World Showcase, and Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party
* 1st time ever going to Hollywood Studios! - Looking forward to Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen Singalong, and the Frozen Fireworks
We'll be there in 9 days! Can't wait! :)

We are traveling with friends for the first time (not doing all the same things exactly but several meals/park days together). Also:
Animal Kingdom Lodge (hopefully club level)--never stayed there, or stayed CL
Wishes Dessert party
1900 Park Fare Dinner
Cape May Cafe
Yak & Yeti
BOG lunch
Akershus breakfast
Park Hopping
Walking to Epcot/entering through the International Gateway--never done it that way!
Resort campfire--we haven't done one
and a couple attractions we missed last time that are a priority: meeting Ariel in her Grotto, Enchanted Tales With Belle, and Kali River Rapids (it was down when we tried to ride it :()

Firsts for the upcoming in September:

- Staying at Port Orleans Riverside
- Using the Disney Dining Plan
- Eating at Yak and Yeti
- First time on 7DMT for DW
- First time in September (I think)

Our next trip will be full of new experiences.

Adult only(DH and I)
First trip in October (previously Dec and Nov)
F&W Festival
Dinner and Cali Grill and Lunch at Sci-Fi
Key to the Kingdom Tour
Staying at Beach Club Resort

All my ADR are for something new other than 50's and Be Our Guest ('Ohana, Biergarten, San Angel Inn)
I'm also psyching myself up to ride Everest
And seeing the Nemo show

This will also be my brother's first time staying on site.

More firsts this trip than I realized:

  • Driving instead of flying down from Chicago
  • Staying at Caribbean Beach
  • 7DMT
  • Biergarten
  • 1900 Park Fare Character Breakfast
  • Haircut at Harmony Barber Shop because why not?
  • Boma for breakfast on our last day before driving home.
  • Pushing to have my 2 DDs ride Space Mountain. They are tall enough (finally), but wife has made them afraid and freaked herself out about them riding since she can't sit beside them.

Last year in July I saw Illuminations for the first time. I am normally a rope drop person but I really wanted to see it and glad I diid. Not sure if there will be any firsts other than this year being the first time I didn't go on one of my favorite rides (PotC).

Ohana for breakfast with Lilo and Stitch (assuming I can get a reservation)
Osborne Family Lights
MVMCP (maybe)
Fantasmic
SDMT

ETA Ohana breakfast reservation was made this morning so that is now a definite
